• She weeps,
Her tears flow through empty streets and crowded ones the same.
    She cries for her children
For the years she has watched them grow and prosper,
For the love she has given them and for the long faded love they once returned.
They have forgotten her, only turning back to use her for their own greed.
They have cast her aside, forgetting all she's done for them…
    And so she cries.

Accompanied by this sorrow there is rage.
It explodes in a fit of agony that lights up the darkness.
    She screams,
her fury echoes loudly through the once calm night sky.
"Why won't you hear me? Why do you overlook my pain, pain you have inflicted?"

    "Why do you ignore me?"

Her yells fade into quiet sobs,
    tears still falling steadily.
    She feels alone
    Yet little does she know
Some of them are crying as well.
They shed tears of guilt and pity.
Silently in the distance they watch,
    Helpless
They can do nothing to fix what has already been done
And what will continue to happen.

    So together they will cry
And they will watch in fear as this once beautiful place
This forgotten and withered up world is turned to dust and washed away
Washed away by her bitter tears.
