Trapping a cold wind that gives you goosebumps,
A terrifying night that keeps you up and never ends,
and lastly the clamp so tightly squishing your emotions,
All put inside a box giving off so much commotion,
Lightning strikes me but I'm not phased by it,
A thief walking through the night shanks me but it's okay...
The box is something so much worse,
The box is the one thing that will hurt,
Suddenly with out an option or given answer,
I was thrown inside this box as it sealed away,
As my arm held onto heart floating high,
It was crushed to pieces inside this eternal night,
Now inside the box lies not imagination but reality,
Smoke and drink simply won't shrug off your thoughts,
Two clouds in the form of eyes stare at me from the sky,
It can watch but it can't answers the prayers I pray and still try,
Don't you get it?
This box was an exit not an entrance,
I was living inside my protective mind,
but now I have left my happiness behind,
This world is real and I am scared,
This world is unforgiving and I'm not prepared,
I want to go back but there's nothing back there,
and my heart was simply all I had to spare,
Now it's quiet,
but not peaceful,
In this screaming silence,
my actions are lethal,
and I am so close to finding the true exit,
The entrance directly into the afterlife,
For I am no longer welcome here,
Pain is controlling me and I have a fine knife,
I wouldn't mind stabbing it right inside,
My pain would flow outside,
I would close my eyes and soon see,
A peaceful place staring back at me.
