We are currently under construction! If i susspect any breaking of the forum guidlines and the rules of the T.O.S i will be going there. I do usually read all of the forums. Any donations to anything other than forums please send in a trade to ultamatetalkroommule with the title set as donation to (whatever your cause is). Be sure to add ultamatetalkroommule as she is the guild mule and will hold all the money and such.
What we're about here at UTR!
This is a guild dedicated to having fun, a place to hang out and get away from the rest of Gaia. A sanctuary, if you please. We're here as a family, brought together with a common interest, and that interest is enjoying ourselves here on Gaia. Of course, you don't need to join a guild to do so, but sometimes you just have to get away from the rest of the site. That doesn't mean that the Gaia T.O.S. doesn't follow you in here, so please keep in mind that we do have rules, and we do expect you to abide by them.
What we have to offer at UTR!
We offer a get-away of forums where you're free to post your ideas and you WILL NOT get flamed here. Everyone will remain open-minded, as long as it isn't offensive. We have a separate Roleplaying forum for you to sate all those needs to share your imagination with others. And we do have the occassional help if it be something in Computers, or if you need some advice with something else, just come to your guild brothers and sisters and we'll try to help as much as we can. We will also organize guild events from time to time, such as charity threads or contests with rewards such as doing avatar art or making banners for us to advertise our guild in.
Rules to follow at UTR!
When you join Ultimate Talk Room! we expect you to follow a set of rules, as well as following the Gaia Terms of Service, or T.O.S.
1. Flaming
There will be absolutely NO FLAMING whatsoever. If you get into a heated argument with another member, either drop it or take it to the PMs. If there's a thread that you find offensive, report it to a Vice Captain found at the bottom of this page with the name of the thread and your reason for reporting it, and it will be promptly investigated and dealt with.
2. Language
The purpose of a guild is a place for people to hang out and express themselves. I'm sure that we wouldn't mind letting a bit of language slip by here and there, but we'd appreciate it if you keep your cussing to a minimum. We all understand that it slips sometimes, but most of us can tell when you're deliberately over-using it. You'll get a warning for two offenses. If you repeat this again a third time, your offense will be brought before the guild leader and he will decide what we'll do with you. It will undoubtedly range between suspending your rights on the forums to altogether banning you and alerting Gaia administrators of your behaviour. But all offences will be passed if the word looks like this F**K but even then there is still too much useing of cuss words please dont abuse this.
3. Sexual Content
This one is heavily based off of the Gaia T.O.S. Being a guild as said before, we're much more open and we do encourage romance in the roleplaying forums, but there is to be strictly NO SEXUAL CONTENT within any thread whether it be roleplaying, public, or even private. We encourage kissing within the roleplaying threads, but not much farther than that. In example, do not include sexual humour that is highly offensive to either gender in a thread, or tell jokes that are crude and untasteful. As said before, please keep that to the PMs or you will be dealt with. Harshly. The only way i will exept this is if its softcore, in other words i will only allow shirts off and in underwear, no farther or i will begin punishing.
4. Multiple Accounts
If you do have alternate accounts, or Mules, please refrain from bringing them into the guild. It takes up space and it makes a moderator's job that much harder to keep things in check whether it be member control or something else that multiple accounts might make difficult. If you fail to abide by this rule, a penalty or even banning of your original account and all of your known mules will occur.
5. Hacking/Scamming
This is another rule based heavily off of the Gaia T.O.S. There is an absolute ZERO TOLERENCE for people who try to hack into accounts of members or try to scam them or the guild itself out of gold or items. If we find out who you are, you will be automatically banned from this guild and you will be reported immediately to Gaia administrators.
6. Respect
This goes hand in hand with the Flaming rule. In this guild, everyone is treated as an equal. This is sort of like the Golden Rule, and you'd know what that is if you paid attention in school. The Golden Rule is, basically, treat people how you would like to be treated. Every member in this guild is a fellow human being, and they will be treated with dignity and respect. It doesn't matter if they're a moderator or someone who just joined, but you will respect their ideas, religions, political and non-political ideals. The whole purpose of life is to have an opinion, but you will not attack anyone with it so long as you remain apart of this guild for what they say or do. If you fail to abide by this rule, you will get a warning, and then repeated offense will be followed with banning, as well as alerting Gaia administrators.
7. Having Fun
This is the most important rule, I think. And this is to have FUN! This guild is about hanging out, discussing personal opinions, meeting new friends, and most of all it's about having fun. Feel free to enjoy yourself, so long as you keep everything clean and follow the set rules and Gaia T.O.S.
