Midnight Realms
Deep in another land, far away from what we know, lays a realm shrouded in darkness and taken over by war. The people living in the realm have been divided by race and territory. The Immortals, the vampires and witches forced into the far north regions, desperate for new land and power saw their chance thousands of years ago when the Were-cat kingdom immigrated from a southern land to settle in the forests south of the Were-wolves. The Immortals, bound by their laws would not create violence. One however decided it was best for his people and changed into a wolf and killed a Prince of the Cat Kingdom.
In retaliation the Were-cats moved towards the north declaring war on the wolves. The Wolves furious with their declaration and claiming no part in the assassination fought back, believing that the Cats stole land that was rightfully theirs.
The War was born out of hate, greed and vengence and it continues on today, two thousand years later. The Immortals, who began the war, still keep the secret of "The One" and have joined the forces of the Were-wolves. The Fey, hating the Immortals and believing them to be all dark and immoral have joined the were-cats in hopes of extinguising the Immortal race forever. The Centaurs and humans, caught in the middle can only act and play as the healers and diplomats, praying that one day their hopes and hard work will be of something and the war will end for good.
