This Guild was created in 2006 by Zeldanator and Shadowcurse to be the Metroid equivalent to their successful Zelda guild Hyrule of Gaia, but with the growth of Hyrule of Gaia and the problems keeping up with 2 guilds, the guild went solely to Shadowcurse who would later give the position of captainship to Master Giovanni.

Master Giovanni left in October 2009 (reasons Unknown) and gave the guild to Card388, and after a PM conversation with him to return, Zeldanator arose to reclaim what was originally his, and continue with the plans he originally had, making this the best Metroid Experience on Gaia.

The Official Metroid Guild is also the first Metroid Guild ever created on Gaia.
