Im going to be honset. I really liked Finnick. Like even when he was crazy, he was still funny. I had to do a double-take when he died. It was so quick, and it felt like Suzanne Collins took no time at all killing him off. lol. But anyway yea, my vote's for Finnick.

I agree with previous users that Haymitch Abernathy is a bit of comic relief in the books. His bitterness is that of any other drunk that is racked with forgotten grief, so I can identify with him. It is also true that he doesn't have enough focus for anyone to develop strong opinions about him. I also like his cleverness (especially with the force field in his Hunger Games). Finnick Odair is a hilarious character. He is upbeat, slightly mysterious at first, and not unlikable. My favorite part including Finnick was when Katniss was headed with Boggs to film a propo-I believe it was in District 8-and Finnick complained that he wasn't allowed to go. Katniss distracted him by telling him that Beetee had a trident for him. As Finnick heads toward Beetee's office, Katniss suggests that Finnick adorn himself with a pair of pants. Finnick abruptly halts, turns to Katniss, and asks if he is distracting her while he rips off his hospital gown left only in his underwear. I laughed for an hour at that scene. I also felt very close to Soldier Boggs because he seemed to be a fatherly figure and reminded me of my own father.

I am torn between Finnick and Haymitch. They are both awesome.

Finnick, Haymitch, Rue, Prim, Cinna, and Effie.

Finnick, because he's just so easy to like. I have an image of him burned in my mind going, "Wanna suger cube?".

Haymitch, because he's a hell of a good mentor, and a very funny drunk.

Rue, because she reminds me of myself.

Prim, because she's just so pure and giving, and she never seems to put herself first.

Cinna, because he cares so much about Katniss, and he even risked his life for her. He was the true Mockingjay, in my eyes at least.

Effie, because she's just so... scatter-brained, yet together? I don't know how Collins made that work, but she seems to have achieved it.

Oh, god. I may as well have just said every character was my favourite. I like Gale, too. I thought she would pick him, quite frankly.

Mockingjay made me question my attachment to A LOT of the characters but I digress...

I adore Katniss. I relate to her. An unfriendly, sulky b***h that is a loyal sister and daughter. She may be dense when it comes to boys but she's resourceful in the wild and doesn't prioritize romance.
