Beko and Tatsu Past ((Me and Felfordulas))

[Senpi Yuki-Chan]

((yea just starting it off like a normal post))

The big night for wolves who turned 13 was tonight, it was like a party at night but only for 13-17 was allow no adults or anything. Beko was sitting on a box watching the 13 year old dance, she was 14, she loved the feeling of being here, it was like getting free away from adults for a whole week, since they party for that long. The music was different from last year though, she sighed softly listening to the music.

 

[Felfordulas]

On the opposite side of the party, another set of eyes watched the dance. They belonged to another seto of eyes: a 14 year old known only as Tatsumaki. As good as it was to be out of the constantly watchful eye of the older members of the clan, Tatsu was in fact rather bored. Dancing was never a major hobby of his, nor did he like being in large groups. "Gotta get out of here." He thought, standing up from his box and looking around. Figuring it didn't really matter who saw him, considering most were too busy with the festivities, he headed away from the crowd of teenagers, making a beeline directly for the lake.

Beko saw someone leave, the boy looked a couple months older then her, she got up and followed behind him a couple of feet, once she knew were he was going she couldn't help follow him even close. Once at the lake she stood behind him "do you always run off in a middle of a party to listen to the wind"she asked him, it was like the wind responded to her voice because the wind blow stronger.

((its cool, Beko has ears and a tail, it normal at that age))

Tatsu almost jumped when he heard a voice behind him, spinning around quickly until he caught sight of the girl. Letting out a sigh of relief, he looked up at her. "Don't sneak up on me like that." He said, still very slightly shocked. He recognised her vaguely, she was the same age as him in years, although just a little younger in months. "Parties aren't really my thing, too many people." He said with a shrug. "Why'd you follow me anyway?"

Beko looked at him in the eyes "we all bond to come to this lake soon or later, but i've been coming here since i was 5, i use to love runing away from my parents to get here, they thought i was joking when i said the voice of the wind favors only one"she said walking up and standing next to him, she looked out onto the lake and smiled "in my years of starting here, i noticed our clan women always following guys, so why shouldn't the young do the same thing"she asked in a almost question way.

Tatsu eyed her curiously as she spoke, he didn't quite know what she meant by 'favors only one'. Unlike the rest of the clan's children, he was not born into it, an outcast of sorts one might say. He found the clan almost entirely on accident years ago and, although he was accepted with open arms, part of him still felt like he didn't belong. He didn't know anybody by name, not that he had actually taken the time to learn anyway. "I say copying others isn't always a good thing. Especially if you don't know them." He said, unintentionally sounding a little agitated. Closing his eyes for a moment, frustrated with himself for the tone, he looked out to the water. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude or anything...it's just..." He trailed off, sighed, then turned to face her once more. "My name's Tatsumaki...Tatsu for short."  

[Senpi Yuki-Chan]

Beko looked at him "I'm Beko"she said softly then she sat down with her tail swaying back and fore "you weren't rude, plus i don't mind it, i always get picked on for being a girl of my family, i guess if my family was normal then it would be different"she said and had one of those looks on her face like she didn't really want to talk about it, all you could tell is she was kinda an outcast just like him.

Tatsu gave sort of a half smile, sitting down as well as he listened to her speak. He opened his mouth to say something on the subject, but the look on her face told him that it would be best if he didn't. Looking back out to the lake, he let out a small sigh. "It's nice out here...I'm suprised that there aren't more people around." He said, although was quite happy that there wasn't.

Beko moved closer to him, she was cold and all she was doing was moving closer to the closest heat source to her, she laid her head on his shoulder "yea its peaceful out here, they say it was once run by the fire clan but the wind clan thought over it because it was windly here the most back in the day, but now its only a little breezes"she said softly, and smiled like she heard someone esle voice then her know speak and not her.

Tatsu furrowed his eyebrows a little when Beko moved closer, about to ask what she was doing when his words were cut off as her head made contact with his shoulder. He blushed all over, but didn't speak, instead looking back out to the lake as he listened to her speak. He had heard of that before as he first started learning about the clan, he nodded lightly. "I heard that the stronger wind was caused by war between the clans, only dying down when peace was being created between them." He said. He could no longer remember who said such a thing, but it was better than not having any knowledge of the winds that both surround them and give them power.

Beko was fowning a little but then she sighed and moved a little to look at him "you don't feel it do you....the wind is getting stronger, some of us fear for war, are you to fight, because i know damn well that none of the teenage boys who just now turn 13 are, your next on the list Tatsu, your old enough to fight, i feel sorry for you guys, you give so much for us people to live, but a lot die in need of peace"she said and looked away, she like she was about to cry.

Tatsu saw that Beko seemed to be on the brink of tears, suprisingly to him, it saddened him a little. When she asked if he was to fight, he nodded simply. "I owe the clan more than I can give in just material posessions or labor. Our people saved my life, so I'd be happy to sacrifice it if need be." He said, not a second of hesitation in his voice. Tatsu had thought about this over and over in the first few weeks of his stay here. He thought about it again when he had become old enough to defend the clan and all it's members. "Don't feel sorry for us, Beko. Feel happy that there are those willing to risk everything to protect you and the others."

{I hate to say it, but I'm going to have to be quite sluggish again today, but this time because I've got a lot to do IRL, both today and tomorrow probably :/ }

Beko didn't look at him, but she did hear him, she stood up and walked foreward, it was like she was going to walk in the water but instead she was walking on top of it, she turn around and looked at him "how many people do you know in our clan who could do that"she asked him.
 

[Felfordulas]

Tatsu watched as Beko walked on top of the water, it didn't suprise him too much considering what the people of their clan could do, but the question she asked did throw him off just a little. "Well..." He began, getting up slowly and walking to the edge of the water. "I think the question should be, who would do that, because I'm sure there's a lot more members that are a lot more powerful than I am...and therefore could do so. I don't know if I'm right, but I believe that, even if they deny that they would, a lot of them would risk their lives to protect the clan in the heat of battle." He said, then gave a light shrug. "It's hard to say really. I can't read minds, so I don't know how many would truly try to protect the clan at all costs. I can only really vouch for myself on that one."

Beko looked at him "the answer is really zero, because all but one person in our clan can do this, my parents hide me away from everyone, a life of a lie is like a life like a war, your always fighting for something that will never change, and yet you keep fighting because you want free will or more room to have a bigger pack, to me that bullshit, its a dumb way and will to fight, you are our man, you shouldn't die for that"she said, for a girl she was out wordly truthfull, and it was hard to find that in the wind clan.
