Well, for anyone having questions for how to make a good magician build, or you know a magician build. Maybe someone has questions on where to level their character. Anything to do with magicians in general goes here that isn't server specific (That means no, "I am tanking in Lawolf, offers?"). Yet you can help people if they need it. Just keep server specific things within your server forum.

Empowered with high mental and spiritual energy, these wizards bring destruction and havoc amongst their foes. The books of old tell of these powerful beings, forging the scriptures and magics of their world into their mind and tools to smite foes with the powers from the heavens....

Pyskeepers are often thought as the devils of Roika because of their dark magic and awesome powers which can put a stop to any foe in their sight. If you wish to become a Psykeeper, your joy must rest in degrading others to nearly nothing...

Inheriting the power of nature, the Elementor commands the greatest force the world has ever known to pummel it's enemy into the ground. Scholars at heart, Elementors have learnt a multitude of skills to accompany them on their journey...

Depends whether you want an ele (not likely with the new skill system) or an Aoe/Crucio/Satan psy.

There's still a way to make a Kickass PSY.
Get a PSY, Get plvled all the way to 60, and use all the skill points to have to Master Crucio and anything else you need.
Tada you have a Master Crucio PSY with pure STA!
Of course, you'd need to be rich to do that, but I'm goin to. 3nodding

Mage Guide

-------------

unfinished!

Starting out your vagrant

-------------

You start out, and flyff is pretty cool, but you want more! Go fight monsters, every time you level, put all of your points on STR they will reset when you turn mage. Now level yourself to fifteen in a matter of hours.

The Mage Quest

----------

Go to SaintMorning, and head back where the HUMOUNGOUS stairs are. Go right until you see magic instructor, and magic drillmaster. Now you will have a quest to kill Captain aibatts, mushpangs, and burudengs. Its timed. Be sure you have an extra blinkwing to get back to SaintMorning, because the mage instantly teleports you to flaris, and the time begins. Next you must bring him 10 Twinkle Stones, 1 Slain, and 5 Chumpims, not very hard if your carrying cash. After that, its a simple matter of following instructions. BE SURE TO READ ALL DIALOUGE!!!!!

Now your a Mage

----------

Goodie for you, but wait. Go buy all the basic mage equipment, but keep your vagrant outfit until lvl 18! At lvl 18 you can wear the first mage outfit!!!! Now, you only have Mental Strike, so equip it five times, and go kill some monsters!

The early years

----------

Ok, obviously, v7 makes it a tad bit harder, but hey, you gotta work around it. After you level up to lvl 20 (not 18...) you should have enough points to put 1 or 2 on each 1st lvl skill. Do it, any extra points you have should be used getting each skill to lvl 7, so do so!

When do I use my spells?

------------

Each monster has an element by their name. Pretty self explanatory which one is which. So, here is the spell circle! > is greater than!!!!

Wind>Rock>Lighting>Water>Fire>Wind

ok? use this to your advantage.

The Mage build for Phys and Eles.

---------

Both ARE magicians, so I would use the same build for each. But as a mage, there is NO proper build, you just have to build one, and hope its good. Now this is the thing, none on STR, or DEX for now. Until you have reached your pike of STA and INT then you may put a few on DEX. Another option is sprinkling a bit of DEX every decade levels, and maybe a few STR for when your mp runs low, every 25 levels or so. This is MY personal build, not yours, mine. But you can use it, I didn't copyright it. XD

LONDONLAD OF LAWOLFS OFFICIAL MAGE BUILD!!!!!

pronounced: london lad, not lon donald. No i'm not from london either...

Ok, i started at lvl 15, keeping the same build for STA and INT, 1 on each lvl. I noticed my Hp got freakishly high for a lvl 20, it was like 700 or something, and my MP was only like 850, not alot of Mp. You can kill monsters bout 7 lvls higher than you with 600 hp, and minimum food at lvl 20 as a mage. So, I put 2 more points on INT, always keeping INT two points ahead!!! But, if you mess up somehow, just keep INT higher, and eventually it will go back to normal, with minimul planning.

WHAT THE CRAP MOBS SHOULD I FIGHT ROCK???????

--------

ok, I'm only lvl 29, soon to be 30! YAY! (quoted on February 12, may be higher now, do not take into consideration) So, i will go up to 30. At lvl 15-17 kill feferns, or if your not feelin like a weenie, nyangnyangs. Advance from cute, to creep, not in the middle. 18-21 Bangs, and boss bangs. 22-24 Waagsaacs. 25-30 Anything from Pumpkins to Rock Muscles, dependin on your skills developed.

Actually, I couldn't wait, I just got them all to the point of getting the next best skill, heh. Lvl 24 already. Some of the staffs are pretty good.

I got one that gives +3 int +20 MP and +1 sta. So it should be good then.

I'm level thirty right now, it actually helps killing hobos, regular, with lightning pram.

Anyway, I made my build getting up to 50 int right of the bat. well 51, then I just started pumping sta. Right now my stats are...

STR 15
STA 37
DEX 15
INT 51+7=58

That plus seven comes from various equips, I do 1k to hobos, 5 levels higher than me.

It seems to be working well, I got all my first row skills to 5, min. to get to second row, I am working on getting all my second row skills to 7, min to third row, then third row skills to 7, except looting, which only needs to be at five. At that min, your skills should be done at lvl 54-55. That means when your next set of skills come out for elementer, you have gotten two skills to lvl 5, giving the the min for the next set.

As for my next move, i am going to pump STA to 70, then work on int if I feel I need too.

A little info I am giving I guess.

My rundown on my mage levels at least.

I grinded to level 35 slowwwwly. I fought Hobo's and then puppets when I got to level 33 or something, I did me satisfactory exp. But I couldn't take it.
Instead I flew to Darkon and got plvled all the way up to level 41.
I'm hoping to be a Psy by the beginning of next week.

They're quite hard to kill if you're anything short of INT and even if you are, you'll be spending alot on food and refreshers.
