It's a Pokemon RP! We're still kind of in testing phase. ^^;

Lyn had walked down the stairs. She saw the girl with a Ponyta holding the door open for her. She's nice...just like Karen... Then Lyn heard the girl calling her name. " It is! Kar-ack!" Lyn was tackle-hugged, just like the good old times. "It's been so long! How've you been? Training hard? Oh! I was just about to go pick so berries off some trees I saw last night. Want come with me? How's Cosette been? You fought any gym leaders yet? What bring you to Rustboro? I'm just so freaking happy!" Lyn hugged Karen back. Tiger watched the human ritual of squeezing the life out of each other, he didn't quite understand it. The egg was indifferent.

Karen couldn't stop giggling for a while, even after Lyn was finished speaking. She was just so happy to see her old friend again! While Karen was still unable to reply to her childhood buddy, Cosette approached Lyn and nuzzled her cheek. After a while she was finally able to speak.

"Looks like Cosette's missed you too, and yeah, it has been a while! Let's see... I haven't fought any gym leaders, but I'm going to as soon as I train a little more! Oh, and I caught a new Pokemon! He's a Whismur named Antoine, I think you'll like him! Though I don't know him all that well myself, yet, but I'm going to try to make friends with him! And yes, I'd love to come with you!" Karen replied quickly, completely forgetting that the note she had left Aeris only five minutes earlier had said she'd be within the Rustboro city limits.

Lyn was smiling real big and then she heard that Karen had caught another pokemon. She didn't stop smiling, but inwardly, she was crestfallen. Here she had been living in Hoenn for a few months and she hadn't caught a thing! Egg hadn't even hatched! And Tiger hadn't grown much at all. "That's great! Let's head out then, that's if you don't want to stop at the store, they're having a sale." Tiger sniffed Cosette. He was glad to be around another fire type again. Egg wanted to sniff Cosette too, but he wasn't ready to come out.  

[Its-a-Lyn]

An old man was sitting on the shore at Dewford. It wasn't long until Diane's birthday and the whole town was having a party. He was thinking about what to give her. He wanted to give her a Goldeen, she adored such cute pokemon. However, he wasn't sure if she'd like it, or maybe she'd want more. "I've got it!" The old man claimed. He went back to his little shack by the sea side and started working.

Cosette looked at Tiger and sniffed back, recognizing his scent, and gave him a gentle nudge. Karen smiled at Lyn and shook her head. "That's okay, I already stopped by there last night! I was gonna go look at some of the other stores though, to look at the clothes selections and such... oh! Which reminds me! I won't be able to come with you to pick berries after all, not until a friend of mine wakes up anyway. I left her a note back in our room to tell her that I was only going to be in Rustboro; she's still sleeping. Once she wakes up I can come with you, though! You can come shop with me if you want to until she does."

Tiger barked with glee and wagged his tail. Lyn thought about buying clothes with Karen. It brought back memories. More like nightmares actually. Lyn was not a shopper, her sister was, but Lyn wasn't. Lyn thought about her first shopping experience with Karen and how she escaped in the dressing room, Karen wouldn't fall for the same thing twice, Lyn decided. "Um...Nope...Have to start saving my money, you know. Can't rely on my parents to pay for my whole trip. But hey! We could go to the Cinna-" Lyn stopped. She thought about the employees informing her parents about her where-abouts. "On second thought, I should go pick those berries. They might not be in good shape, I didn't get a good look at them. Besides, I should train Tiger. Maybe I'll catch another pokemon. Well! See you later! Hope the person you're waiting for wakes up soon!" Lyn left, smiling and waving. Tiger was upset by this sudden need to leave.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Aaaw, okay. I'll see you later for sure, then! I won't let you leave Rustboro until we get to hang out longer!" Karen giggled and waved back at Lyn as she left the Center.

"Shall we go also?" She looked back at Cosette and could see the disappointment in her Ponyta's eyes. "Aw, it's alright, Cosette! You'll get to play with Tiger again soon! We'll meet up with them later, okay?" Cosette whinnied happily and trotted out the door as Karen held it open for her.

Lyn and Tiger walked outside of Rustboro. They went up to the trees. " Good! They're still good! This'll save us some potions!" Lyn picked three oran berries and two leppa berries. She gave one of the Oran berries to Tiger. She looked out at the area, thinking about training Tiger in the forest. Just then, she saw a building outside the forests and before the bridge. "Hmm...must've been closed last night. I didn't even notice it." She started walking torward it.  

[x Tiryn]

"Who's bright idea was it to come to Slateport? It's too sunny here!"
"It was yours actually...."
"....Shut up, Zev."
Jade sat on a beach chair under a large beach umbrella. This thing might have protected a person from the sun hurting their skin, but it didn't reduce the heat the sun produced. At least the breeze from the sea cooled things down.....still didn't change the fact it was too bright.
"Jaaaade....I'm hungry."Zev leaned over from his perch on Jade's head to gnaw on her ear a little, so he could get her attention.
"Hey stop that!" Jade swatted a lightly to make Zev stop gnawing on her. "I'm hungry, too. What do you want?" She asked him, slowly getting out of the beach chair. Her legs were numb from sitting still for too long.
"Um....I don't know. Let's go walk around and find something?"
"Sounds good to me..." Jade trailed off a bit. Some little kids were staring at her. It was either cause of all the dark clothes she was wearing on such a bright and sunny day, or the fact that she was talking to her pokemon. She started back at them for no reason really before walking away.

Tristan walked around the city. He loved Slateport. Plenty of people in bathing suits. Plus Spheal could be used to his full potential, being a water pokemon in a port city was perfect. Right at that very moment, his little Spheal was out on the beach, bouncing around and acting like a lost pokemon. Tristan loved to play this game.

Meanwhile, down at the beach...

Little Paris the Spheal was bouncing around with a worried look on his face. Sometimes he'd roll around, and sneeze from the sand. He was looking for someone pleasing so that he could get the hell off the beach. He rolled past Jade and stopped. He turned to look at her and her Eevee. Then his eyes watered up and he started crying.  

[Its-a-Lyn]

Umbreon had ran to Meteor Falls. She remembered all the time she and her owner had spent in there, looking for Bagon. They finally found that thing after many months of searching. Velvet sighed. She looked at herself in the water. She was so much bigger since then; so much stronger. Yet, she couldn't find her own trainer. She drank some water to keep from crying, it wasn't natural for her. She sat up again and exitted the cave. The day was bright outside. She jumped through the mountians, she wanted to find her owner.

Jade stopped and looked down at the thing that had rolled past her. She thought it was a ball but no, it was a pokemon...
"What the hell is that?"
Zev blinked. "I have no idea."
Jade reached into her bag and pulled out her pokedex. SHe really didn't know what any of the pokemon in the Hoenn region. She glanced at all the info her little pokedex provided.
"Uh-huh....alright then. It's a Spheal..." Jade closed her pokedex and returned it to her bag. The little thing was still crying. "Should we help it or can your stomach not wait another second?" The question was directed at Zev.
"Hey, you're the pokemon trained here. You decide."
Jade let out a little sigh and kneeled down. She had a small feeling that she was going to regret this. "Hey, what's wrong?"

Paris looked up at her with his big, watery eyes. He sniffed a little bit and looked at the woman. He reached his little fins at her, wanting to be picked up.

Tristan decided that Paris must've found someone by now, and he started to walk around the beach like he was looking for something. He trusted Spheal to find someone pretty, and he wanted to find that person, hang out with them for awhile and then, in true player fashion, leave them for some strange reason.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris snapped out of her stupor and immediately started to hyperventilate, searching all around her for Han or Karen. She couldn't make out her surroundings, and everything was blindingly bright.

She called out the first name that came to mind. "Karen??" She drew in a shuddering breath and held her knees closely to her chest, shaking violently and inadvertantly knocking the note Karen left her off the bed. "Where is everybody..." Aeris shut her eyes to block out the light, hoping against hope she hadn't passed on during the night.

Karen walked out of the last boutique, clutching a shopping bag happily to her chest. "I can't wait to wear this dress, it's so cute! Hee hee! I wonder if Aeris is up by now, maybe she just didn't want to leave the room... let's go check!"

She skipped over to the Pokemon Center with Cosette following right behind her. They wandered up the stairs of the Center and to their rented room. Karen swung open the door and peeked in to see if Aeris was still asleep. Her eyes widened seeing Aeris shaking violently on her bed. "Omigod, Aeris! What's the matter?" she shouted, dropping the shopping back and sprinting over to the girl. She crawled up onto the bed next to Aeris and touched her cheek gently. "What happened to you, Aeris?"
