"It was... Somewhat sad... Probably not what we need now but..." He flashed a smile and laughed to himself, humming the first few lines. "It was a beauty to listen to, though..." He gave Azana and Sosol a nod and a smile, waving shyly.

"Storm Stopper," the pair said in unison, looking at each other with equal annoyance.
"It won't take me long...maybe I can teach you another day," he made an attempt at compromise, not wanting her in the kitchen helping when that box sat at the bottom of the bag.
"Why not now? We have time..."
"Somehow, I think you're just trying to distract yourself," he said quietly, a hand on her shoulder. "Get that stuff done now, and stop worrying about it..."
Azana glared at him...he was right, she knew he was right...but it still aggravated her. "Fine...but if I'm done before you are, I'm at least learning part of the recipe."
"It's a race, then."

Gren's eyes widened, shocked. "The man playing it...what did he look like? Was it a request?"
Remy nodded. "Oh, I see...Azana, sometimes a guy needs a secret or two...it makes us feel special. Let him be!"

Azana gave a small sigh of defeat with Remy's comment. She understood that, but she couldn't quite get why a simple tea recipe would be such a big deal. She turned and headed upstairs, knowing that being around Remy was not a good idea with that flask in her pocket.
I'm not rushing to pack this time...I will be fully prepared...
Sosol visibly relaxed as Azana vanished upstairs. "Thanks, Remy," he said gratefully as he walked back toward the kitchen. Though that wasn't quite the secret I was trying to keep...

Gren blinked, swallowing. "Somewhat...but let's just say that I've gotten very good at playing Goodnight Julia." he smiled gently, petting MacPere's cheek as he passed to head up the staircase.
"No problem! Sometimes it's more important than girls think..."

"Goodnight... Julia?" MacPere smiled as Gren passed but gazed at the stairs with a questioning look. That expression wasn't entirely comfortable... Had he touched a nerve?

Rummaging through his room, Gren unearthed the music box. The transmitter long since destroyed, only a half-functional melody the remains of what had left him holding the bag. "Could it be that...Julia's here too?" he mused, stuffing the box into his pocket and picking up his case, heading back downstairs.

Azana closed the door to her room, looking around it with hesitation. Sosol had danced around actually saying it, but she was planning on spending part of the evening packing her bag for the return trip to Angeles. The half-packed bag from Eleanora's rescue remained in the corner, which gave her somewhat of a head start, but it was disorganized and dusty from staying with the spirit beings outside the Manor.
"Let's get this out of the way..."
Sosol chuckled as Remy talked about the importance of secrets...he, of all people, knew that, and the secret he was keeping from Azana was becoming increasingly cumbersome.
"Where the heck am I supposed to hide this?" He asked himself, pacing back and forth around the kitchen as he opened the various herb bags and went to fetch the tin. "The last thing I need is for her to find it prematurely..."

MacPere snapped from his thoughts to Sosol's voice, hissing at the subject and looking wearily to the stairs for either of their halves. "I-I don't know! Where does no-one ever look? Uh... Inside the glass at the very back of the cupboard. No-one uses those."
After a moment he paused, face growing a dangerous, yet affectionate smile. "Wait... You're going through with it...?"

Sosol jumped slightly, having not noticed that Remy followed him into the kitchen. He took a couple breaths, calming down as two scoops began to work their way into dried herbs, pouring them into the large tea tin with surprising precision.
"Big surprise," he replied, "one that even surprised me..." He wasn't sure exactly how much he could say...after all, the ring was originally Eli's and was tied to the secret he swore to keep. Remy would never believe he could have obtained it by himself...

"I don't know," Sosol answered to Eli, shaking his head. "Everyone seems to think it's a good idea...I just don't know about her..."
Remy suggested they could give it to him, and it did seem somewhat of a good idea...then again, keeping it in the cupboard was a lot more convenient. He pulled the ring box out of the bottom of the shopping bag, looking at it thoughtfully as he tried to decide...
