"He did, as a matter of fact. It was quite the brawl we had, right in the middle of downtown Victory City. I think we smashed through ten cop cars, five storefront windows and three fire hydrants, not to mention one of the most exclusive clubs in the city before I finally managed to subdue him."

Azana and Sosol returned from their room upstairs, having left to provide some of their new ideas to Stella. The conversation with Remy had brought up a lot of good points, and while some of them would not be covered for a long time...getting them down on the agenda was a big step.
They both surveyed the new man at the bar, one of them with curiosity, the other in judgment. The pair split off, Sosol walking back to his familiar post behind the bar while Azana approached the man in green and black.
"I haven't seen you around here before..."

MacPere sighed in relief as he entered the inn, cooing the stirring Emily back to sleep. "It's alright sweetheart, we just need to brush your teeth and do the daily bedtime routine... You don't need to be too awake to do that..."
Whilst passing, he gave a wave to Azana and Sosol, Remy and the unrecognisable man. "Evening to you all..." He purred, as he climbed the stairs and helped the half-asleep Emily through her routine and into bed.

Azana's suspicions faded at the news, her arms unfolding in reaction to what she had just heard. "The forest...? That's not far from here," she muttered quietly to herself, looking down at the ground in thought.
Sosol busied himself with cleaning up used glasses and serving up a drink for his girlfriend...anything to cover his nervousness at the situation. He had been in that forest not terribly long ago...why would Angeles send someone there so soon?
"I guess it's safe to assume the Valentines have taken the offensive...?" She asked grimly, glancing toward the stairs momentarily as she thought of Eli and Emily. Things seemed to be moving faster than she figured...so much for a free weekend...

"I came in after the fact, I'm afraid. I only know what Knight told me. He was in the woods when he came across a girl named Kage. She had been shot by someone named Angeles, and the two apparently declared war upon each other. Not unusual, really. Chris is very protective of his friends."

Sosol's eyebrows nearly met his hairline as he heard the news. Kageko left not long after his return...did she run into Angeles? It sounded like just bad luck, but the Angeles he talked to didn't seem the sort to fire unless attacked.
That didn't account for her sending a minion after Knight and his team, though. Either I've been had, or she's really making my job easy...
"Kageko?!" Azana asked in wide-eyed surprise. The young girl, someone she had worked with, fought alongside, trusted in more ways than one...someone who defended Angeles in her turn...
And she shot her...how could she...? How dare she?!
