Sosol pushed open the door to the Inn, carrying a few bags. "Hello, everyone!" He greeted cheerfully, walking back toward the kitchen to unload everything. As he passed Azana, he leaned in, giving her a quick kiss.
Azana smiled, watching him depart. She'd have to tell him about the big business meeting when he was done. "Does that work for you guys? I don't want Stella dragging everyone here for nothing..."

MacPere smirked to himself, laughing quietly. "He likes red, hm? I'll keep that in mind... I just thought that he'd dislike the whole symbolism of being the female in the relationship through receiving the ring... Perhaps I'm over-thinking?"

It was a light day for supplies, and Sosol returned from the kitchen within minutes, holding a wooden box with a somewhat mischievous smile on his face.
Azana looked over her shoulder, tilting her head at the box. "What's that, Sol...?"
"It's yours...picked it up while I was out," he answered, handing it to her.
She surveyed it, looking at the top, the sides, and the bottom, hearing a soft thud from inside. "Something's in it?"
"That's kind of the point of a box," he retorted, the smile growing wider.
Azana tried to find the hinge to open it, but came up empty. She tried to slide the top, but it didn't budge. Her curiosity satiated, she looked up to him with the same smirk others had seen during wagers and missions. "A puzzle box."
"Bingo...pretty hard one, too. Think you can solve it?"
"No challenge too great, Sol. Puzzles are no exception." As Azana waited for her cousin and her small group, she began fiddling around with the box, her brows furrowed in concentration.

Remy smiled, a bit knowingly, and painted calmly. Perhaps it'd be a wedding gift, for whichever party worked up the nerve first.

Vincente came down the stairs, not wearing his long coat. He tipped his hat towards nobody certain, probably everybody. He leaned against a table and pretty much listened like Ultima was. Except Ultima was standing on the table where Knight and azana were, Vincente didn't even know what was going on.

"That would be great, Azana. We have another associate that will be joining us. A telepath/telekinetic we call Synapse. Other than that, I'll leave the arrangements to you."
Prism nudged his arm when she saw Sosol bring the box to Azana. He, too, figured out what was going on and simply waited to see what would happen.

Sosol walked over to Remy calmly, lowering his shades to look at the canvas. "That's really coming along, Remy," he commented with a smile before glancing back at Azana.
She had her eyes narrowed, all of her attention focused on that box. Just how complicated was the puzzle, and what waited for her inside the box? He should have known better than to give her one of these...she was going to be so antisocial if she wasn't careful.
Sosol chuckled, shaking his head at his girlfriend. "I honestly wasn't sure she'd like it..."
At Knight's voice, Azana looked up from the box. "Okay...Stella promised sometime in late afternoon. Skuld should be able to keep her to that." Having relayed the information, she went back to work on the complicated box.

"Hey, if they match, that might be kinda nice..."
"That's true."
"Hey, why not use the same ring you gave him?"
"Isn't that a little tacky?"
"Why? The full-circle effect could be really nice!"
"What, the puzzle box? She loves having something to figure out..." he smiled, blending a small patch. "I think it's a good idea...just make sure that at least one of you knows how to open it, right?"
