Sofia wlaked down the stairs to where everyone was at. She has goone upstairs to shower and other things finally come back down. She made her way to Remy and jumped on his back like when they were little kids. "Who are all these people?" she asked sweetly as her golden orbs scaned the room.

We were curious about what you know regarding the Valentine clan. I thought it would be in our best interest to share intel and resources in this matter."

"Thank you for you kindness, my dear. I'm afraid I cannot take the blame for warning you, however... I was only made aware of the measures half-way through the event. I am sorry that you had witness such a thing..." As somewhat of an instinctual act, MacPere drew Skuld into a hug, tucking her head under his chin, rubbing her back.
"You know, you are quite the adorable one, my dear..."

"Probably a good idea," Sosol agreed with a nod, looking back toward the rather large table gathering. He pushed himself up into a standing position, looking back and offering a hand to Azana.
"Miss Brown, we're needed."
Azana smiled, shaking her head as she took his hand and stood once more, not exactly looking forward to sharing information and negotiating an alliance in her little black dress...
Eh, it could be worse. At least I look fine...
Skuld was about to respond, but she was pulled into a warm hug, something that she had missed since Sosol had left to live at the Inn. She closed her eyes, enjoying the affection and the compliment.
"Better one witness than ten," she said quietly, repeating what she had been using to comfort herself. The truth was she was accustomed to one vivid vision per event...taking those memories gave her multiple angles for the same thing. She, most literally, saw it all.
"...if you are curious...you can see what I see," she offered, "but I would advise against it."
"Stella Stevenson, Chairwoman of the GMO," she introduced herself, still liking how that sounded coming off her lips. "You already know Azana Brown and Sosol Jacobs, our field operatives for this district. This is James 'Tech' Taylor, the head technician of our Labs."
"Hi," he said with a grin and a wave before going back to staring at Tekker, dismantling it with his eyes.
"Over there is Skuld, an Oracle and my personal assistant," she gestured to the young blond in MacPere's embrace. "I have been briefed on our current vampire situation...perhaps it is best to start from the very beginning."

Gren nodded, heading to the bar to start a tray of glasses of water, actually orders afterward. Passing MacPere and Skuld, he grinned. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but he knew she'd done him a kindness. "Something for either of you?"

"This mess was started by Angeles attacking Eleanora MacPere, as I'm sure you're already aware. After a very tense meeting at the Valentine Manor to convince her to come in peacefully, I decided to call my team in case the vampires used this as an opportunity to increase hostilities. Just yesterday, my team and I, minus Miss Masters, were confronted by a member of her clan after Angeles herself shot a friend of mine. The four of us just barely managed to defeat her. That's when we decided to call you."

Azana gave a nod. "Our current problem started by a simple visit," she started to explain, telling what she knew of it all as best she could. "Ms. Eleanora MacPere, a greedy old bat...she and Gren were talking when she threatened blackmail. Angeles had been nearby during the conversation, which was not uncommon, as she had a de facto position here as the local bouncer. However, that day, she attacked Eleanora in anger, whisking her away from the Inn before we could stop her."
She looked over to Knight, knowing he knew what came next. "We pursued her, relatively unprepared and blind to what we were walking into. She led us back to her manor, where she had ascended to Countess of her family. She returned Eleanora, but she had already bitten her, meaning that at her leisure, she can control the woman's actions."
"I think this is where your half of the story begins, Knight...tell us what happened after my agents returned with Ms. MacPere."
Skuld followed MacPere to one of the sofas at the Inn, sitting next to him but turned so that she could face him. As he asked her to share the stolen memories, she frowned in a melancholic remorse as she placed her first two fingers to both temples, closing her eyes as she prepared.
"Mr. MacPere...in advance...I'm sorry," Skuld said before initiating the transmission, her brows furrowed in concentration to ensure that nothing but what he sought came to him.
((brb...gotta switch houses again. >_< ))

MacPere smiled, somewhat nervous about the psychic exchange. "Don't apologise to me, Sku--" His eyes shut instantly as the transmission began, brow knitted.

"I spoke to Angeles once more outside her manor, asking her to come back with me. She refused and threatened to kill me unless I left. I did, reluctantly, and that was the last I saw of her for a few days. I went to my headquarters and contacted my team and then went into the woods to meditate. While I was there, I heard a gunshot and followed it. I found Angeles standing over a girl named Kageko, a friend of mine. I was angry when I learned that she had shot Kage. I wanted to confront her, but Kage's injury required immediate medical attention. I was forced to let her escape. I took Kage to my base and left her in the care of Captain Stone and Miss Wade, while myself and Mister Stewart went in pursuit of Valentine. We, instead, encountered a member of her clan named Victoria. She attacked us and over the next few hours, my team and I did the best we could to fight her off. The fight finally concluded around dawn when Falcon put an arrow in her heart and a stranger in white decapitated her. When the sun rose, her body turned to ash and that was that. We met back here and decided to bring in reinforcements. That's where you and Miss Masters come in."
