Wandering about the hallways, Gren hummed in a detached manner. Coming across a sign on a door reading a warning against dark elves reading minds, he decided to run it to the test. Thinking very quietly, he began reciting the Jabberwock poem, and continued his feline-esque tour of the rest of the inn. He'd never been to some of these sections...

Ultima looked back in his thoughts. "Ok, I looked at the label, i'm pretty sure it did say permanent." Ultima felt like he was hit by a hammer. "How was i supposed to know they meant it?"

"Many time McPere," said Angeles looking over at the man who had his head in a sink, "I am a vampire, and there are areas that do not have such gracious people as Zulma who have bottles of blood behind their counters," Angeles smirked as she looked at McPere, "but again you do not need to worry because Zulma is gracious and does indeed have bottles of blood behind her counter to satiate my thirst," there was no need to inform him that she had drained the last bottle in the morning before anyone had awoken. She could go five days without feeling thirsty, and she really did not need to satiate it but blood kept her young and strong, and it was that strength that she needed to fight her own kind.

MacPere laughed and cooed to Ultima, shaking his head. "Better luck next time? Perhaps I royal blue dye would be best for you next..."

He turned back to Angeles and hummed, rolling his shirt sleeves back and examining his wrists. "To be honest, I think Lady Zulma is the only person I've seen with a bottle of blood behind her counter~" He laughed lightly and drained his tea, placing the cup down with a clatter. "She is indeed a thoughtful one~"

"I suppose it's about time I showed up again. Enough wandering about..." Gren began heading back towards the downstairs. The ginger tea he'd spotted before looked very appealing.

Ultima snatched up the nearest blue thing in a bottle. "Hey, this is food coloring!" Ultima threw it back down to it's spot, surprisingly not breaking it. "Where am I gonna get blue hair dye?"

"They usually carry blue dye in alternative shops and pharmacies."

Gren appeared at the top of the stairs, a spunky smile playing at the corner of his mouth.

"But I think it looks nice white."

Angeles looked down at McPere's wrists as he examined him. She smiled darkly then distracted herself with Gren's reemergence, "hello Gren," she said before reaching into her pocket and taking out another blood candy and sticking it on her tongue, "indeed, though there is a tavern, somewhere near where the war took place two years ago that also serves blood, along with alcoholic drinks and various teas and coffees. I haven't been there in a while ever since I had a spat with a couple vampires there who were insulting my our king," Angeles meant 'our' as in the vampires, the king Louie. How she hated those two, but she had not seen them since so did not spare any more emotion on them.

MacPere tapped his teacup and murmured a brief 'excuse me' before standing, pouring himself another batch of ginger tea.

"Well... Salon Durem sell all from one-wash to semi-permanent or something a little more perpetual~ And I agree, the white is quite fetching on you~"

Gren sidled up to MacPere and glanced to the cup. "Any of that tea left, or should I make my own?"

MacPere smiled at Gren and brought out another teacup, elegantly pouring the rich brown into it. "Of course there is enough left~"

"Thanks very much!" Appreciatively, he held the cup and sipped gently at the piping hot drink. It'd been quite tempting earlier.

"May I sit? I don't want to interrupt..."

Angeles laced her fingers together and let the two men be as she closed her eyes on her own thoughts, careful about what she was thinking as she recalled that the dark elf could hear her thoughts. After a moment Angeles decided that it was best to not think at all and so cleared her mind and began to meditate, getting the images of McPere's wrists out of her mind. The man really had no idea what he was doing.

Ultima touched his head. "I guess your right, but I was born with blue hair." Ultima took another bottle that said dye, and poured it on the tips of his hair. "Red dye! She has red, white, but no Blue, what an insult!"

Watching Ultima, Gren said"You...er...should probably read the labels more carefully..."

Gren turned back to his table and saw something new. MacPere's wrists. Slim, beautiful. He smiled into his tea. "This is delicious. You must have a lot of practice in brewing tea, to make something this good."
