Kru looked at the ten he received and hummed, he had eleven now, "I am here because you are having vampire trouble. But if it is something personal I understand, I will only work to get you close. As long as it is dead I don't care who kills it. Again?"

Azana came back toward the table with a soda-fountain style cherry cola, the box in her free hand. "Very personal," she added darkly, sitting back in front of her snack stash. Now that she had given up on cards, it was hers for the evening.
Sosol quirked an eyebrow at Kru. He was playing very aggressively...
"Lougarou...that's the genetic variant, right?" Tyler asked in interest. He wasn't sure how open Kru was to discussion, but it wasn't every day he came across someone like him.

Azana grumbled under her breath as she worked at the box. It only seemed to move when she was calm, she noticed...either that or her focus was off and she couldn't find the next step.
"...three times...that parasitic...rrrr..."
Sosol listened to the conversation calmly, already knowing that things were falling into place, both with his hand and with the situation at large. He didn't know whether she was desperate or just trying to ease his burden, but these people would need no more nudging from him.
"That's a rather bad assumption to make," he said to Gren, biting into a cracker. "Some hunters work pro bono."
"That's quite interesting..." Tyler trailed off. The genetic variant...even a hair would contain fascinating information. Of course, introducing himself would probably be a good first step.
"I thought I'd wait until the conversation settled somewhat...the name's Tyler Hunter."

"You just described it..." Sosol said in slight puzzlement, tilting his head to the now-bust Kru. "I figured it was as much."
Tyler smirked at Kru's statement, realizing the humor in it. "Eh heh, I suppose it would be to you," He commented before flipping over his card, a six. "Nineteen. Beat that, Gren."
At least I'm hunting the right things now...
"Ah, you got me...eighteen."
Azana took a few breaths to calm herself, sliding a piece of the box. So close...she could feel it.
((I don't know whether to have it solved tonight or not... XD Also, my cat has learned to tap me on the shoulder for attention.))

"Ah," he said pushing his cards back to Gren, "vampires have used my race as slaves for far too long. I know that not all of them are the same, but the bad ones, they are all the same," he stopped and looked at the table for a moment, recalling his time as a slave before looking over to Sosol. He was the one he could trust.
"I would like more information on this vampire you are having trouble with, what type is it?"

"Can't, I've been over for a while now." he grinned, flipping his jack with one of his other cards.
At Kru's question, he automatically responded. "She's a Stoker variant with magical abilities of summons on top of it all."

"Ha ha!" Tyler laughed in victory, even though all this would earn him is a bad stomachache the next day.
"She's a countess and used to spend her time hunting other vampires," Azana added. "She trusts practically no one, and doesn't deserve to be trusted herself."
Sosol, on the other hand, paid more attention to Kru's story. Slaves to the vampires...I'm sorry... He thought to himself, turning in the cards and munching on a few pretzels.

"If you need information on Angeles, i'm more than willing to provide it," came a deep voice from the darkest corner of the in. Lucifer sat there, in a white suit, modernized from his previous attire, but still classy. His eyes were glowing red and his fingers were tracing against the unfinished carving on the table, but his attention was set on the table with the cards.
Kru stood up, a bit of fear creeping into his eyes as he reached and produced a crossbow pointed at Lucifer's chest and the vampire held up his hands in surrender. Baldur growled and stood to his feet.
"Just when I thought all the vampires were gone...."
