"You would do that?" asked Kru with surprise, barely daring to breathe. He put his hands under the table and curled them into tight fists to keep from crying and put on the happiest face he could for the man.

-he swung open the door and walked inside scanning the room and taking in the familiar welcoming sight.-

-hearing an extremely familiar voice he beamed a smile back before rushing over to give the man a hug-
"Gren! Aha! Good to see you my old friend! Good to see you. To be honest I don't think you would believe me if I told you! But let's just say it involves alot of my time in a recording studio and on a bus! However If you have the time, I most certainly will tell the story"
-he let go after a long hug and headed to the bar for some drink-
"Would you like anything whilst i'm over here?"
-he said pulling himself out two glasses-

Kru continued to smile but said nothing for fear that his voice would break. When someone new came in he distracted himself from his bittersweet thoughts and watched Gren great him.

-he said with a slightly surprised tone to his voice-
"I don't imagine I ever really heard things going nuts at least coming from you. Though I guess this place hasn't lost its natural charm for those things ay?"
-he poured himself a glass of water as usual and left the counter heading for where the two were sitting-
"Evening!" -he said to the new face-
"I don't believe we have met. The names Aris. Aris Ventrinquis. Pleasure to meet you." -he held his hand out to shake hands before turning back to Gren-
"So Gren, what has happened that I missed out on. To be honest I expected to see you and MacPere cuddling up by the fire when I waltzed in."
-he winked and gave a sly smile-

"Kru Stoffer," said the man shaking Aris' hand. However, his spirits fell as he asked what had happened while he was gone. his smile turned into a frown and he looked at the carving again.

"Ah, the poor guy's off on business..." he called from the kitchen. "Long story short, Angeles decided one afternoon that attacking Eli's mum when she came to see me was a brilliant idea. she ran, a few of the guys and gals went after her, there were a few fights, a few people got hurt, came back to try and regroup. "
He began preparing rice. "Remy disappeared after a while, probably because of all the 'lets kill vampires' talk. Then, last Thursday, she attacked the place again, taking Emily. And you know, I'm already against someone abducting little kids, but she was calling me her daddy, and I can't just let that go."
