[Ruki XXIII]

Curious, Luke slithered over to the picture and picked it up. "You think this is the girl he needed the money for?"  

[sweetiejks]

-pheonix looks at the picture-
It is possible. I dont know though.
-starts heading east-

"Oh, that must be the girl Ryoshi-kun was talking about earlier, nya~. Maybe we should hold onto it until we get to the next camp or have a chance to give it to him, nya~." It was clear how obviously excited she was about something by the way her ears and tail twitched and the size of the smile on her face. Byakko held up the charm Nya had asked Pheonix to hold for her earlier and Nya put it on, ear ears and tail disapearing and her hair darkening. "Thanks a lot Byakko-san, nya~! It'd be bad if we got caught in the kingdom, nya~." She was still holding the charm she had offered Luke, not sure if he'd want it or not.

"Then you can hold the picture, Nya," Luke replied, handing the photo to her. "You seem excited to give it back to him. Oh, and... Well, keep the charm, too. I just foresee too many problems with explain either the height or the fact that people hear a slithering sound instead of footseps when I walk. I'll just... stay out of sight."  

[animekittyninja-aka kiki]

"Okay I'll hold onto the picture, nya~! I'll make sure nothing bad happens to her, nya~! Hmm? ....... Oopsy, sorry Byakko-kun, nya~. I didn't realize I was doing that again, nya~. I'll calm down, just give me a minute or to, nya nya~!"
Byakko seemed to shake his head and roll his eyes as he took the charm she was going to give away from her and dropped it in the bag.

(ryoshi reaches the edge of the forest to see smoke coming from the south side of the forest)
good thing we left
(ryoshi walks towards the next campsite)

Nya calmed herself down and smile. She put the picture some place safe and then started headed East, with Byakko close behind. When she got into a thicker part of the forest, she changed into new clothes so she wasn't wearing the kimono she had ripped the bottom off of.

Luke slithered up a three and made his way through the canopy. He wondered exactly how much further they'd travel before he'd have to return to the ground.

-pheonix was walking with the nya and byakko, heading to the next camp-
I hope those people from the kingdom dont follow us.  

[animekittyninja-aka kiki]

"Hmm? I'm sure they won't mess with us so long as we lay low and act like they do. Byakko, we're starting to get close now. Why don't you walk on the ground beneath Luke-san. It'd be easier for us to meet up that way."
Byakko nodded and walked directly beneath Luke.

"Maybe, when they find our camp abandoned, they'll come up with some exaggerated story to say how they killed us," Luke suggested, with a bit of a laugh.

(ryoshi keeps on walking, seeing the smoke go around the forest, towards him)
might be bad....
(ryoshi goes on all fours, immediatly having his body be engulfed by a white fire, turning him into a white wolf)

Luke yawned, his mouth stretching much wider than any human's mouth could ever hope to.

-pheonix being a little worried decides to spread her wings and flys up above the trees to get a better look-



-the guards waited, then heard an explosion from the scouts and they all start marching into the forest-

Hearing the explosion, Luke glanced back for a moment. "That can't be good..."
