“You seem really lost mister. Kinda like you’re just going with the motions.” Tim was so loud. Until he spoke the forest stroll had been very peaceful. Since the little excitement at the small imperial fortress, all you had done was travel. Tim was apparently leading you to his house where he stored a map and a nether portal. So much of what you had done ever since speaking to the Tree was just go with the flow. Why was Tim trying to stir that up? What was happening anyway?

“Hey buddy, anyone in there? You sure are quiet. What is your deal anyway? So what if you’re here? This isn’t where I belong either but you don’t see me moping around like a robot. Things could not have been this dull where you come from?” Time sure was annoying. Even then, he was a formidable ally. The things you saw him do you had never seen anyone do ever before. The rest of the party following was right there with you; they were just as annoyed.

“I sure hope you try to cross us Tim. Killing you would be so satisfying.” Legolas couldn’t hold back his tongue any longer.

“Bashing teammates for poor communication does not promote better communication. If you have something mean to say it is likely best to keep it to yourself.” Jagger, the summoner, spilled some of what he learned while training to be a summoner.

((feel free to add any conversation here. I’m going to push forward regardless what you say))

“There it is. Alright home sweet home!” Tim was so excited. He rushed to the blocky log cabin built into the trees. It was a huge place with layers of farms and other strange contraptions. He motioned for you all to enter. Everyone did as he asked while he prepared supplies.

Tim shot from room to room completely quick tasks and collecting gear. He was a very efficient little guy. It was almost amusing to watch him. After about only 20 minutes or so, Tim had everything together. Right there in the middle of the living room, where he had everyone wait, he quickly built up a 5 by 3 black block door way. He then took some flint and started a fire in the middle of the door way. It caught as if he had poured gasoline everywhere. Instead of it burning like a campfire, the whole doorway lit up until a wall of fire spread from corner to corner.

“I give you… a nether portal.” Tim was so proud, as he was with every creation. “Alright you guys, one at a time, walk through the portal and wait on the other side.” One by one each member of the party did as he asked. As you stepped onto the portal the fire engulfed you. All you could see was fire for the longest time until finally you could hear Legolas yell for help. You stepped forward and the flames subsided. Quickly following you came Jagger, Helix, and then Tim.

“Help!” Legolas yelled again. You found him off in the distance. All around him were these strange green zombie looking monsters with swords axes and spears.

Baldur let out a roar as he pulled out the two handles on his side as he pulled them pistols formed from nothing. He started firing bolt of energy at the green creatures tagging a couple of the closest to Legolas. "Hurry we must fend off these creatures and find this ring of power you speak of. If Loki, even another version of him is after it then it can not mean anything good." Baldur said. Loki had killed his wife. Caused him and his brother to kill each other. His hatred of Loki carried over to this other form of him that had appeared. As Baldur basked in his anger he ran closed to the zombies, nearing them he dropped his pistols which fell back into their holsters and pulled mighty Fenrir from his back. Swinging his whole body in a circle he went crashing into the zombies slicing them left and right.

“Alright forget about that red coated loser. He isn’t worth our time.” Desmond rushed for his Titan and it lifted him into the c**k pit while turning at the same time to shield him from the gun fire. His larger scanners came on and targeting system showed him a bit more about what he was firing at. “I’m going to keep more suppressive while you guys move into a more secure location. Once we are behind some good cover we can engage these targets properly.” Desmond was in battle mode. He thought very little about the last encounter and had only one thing on mind; his team. “Oh and by the way… I’m sorry.” Desmond spoke regretfully but as though he was already forgiven.

"Apologize later and keep shooting" Shepard barked at him.

There were about 20 combatants you were picking up from gun fire. One car was mobile as you began to fire on it, a woman with blue hair and yellow shirt jumped out. her skin began to glow with blue tattoos. You felt the Titan go weightless. The large sound of metal crunching filled your cockpit. It was deafening and when you looked on your montior you saw your Titan being crushed by some force. You called out for help, but the man on the minigun threw two turrets out that began to rain bullets and rockets upon Shepard and Liara. Vash was being chased by a man in a mask that said 0 on it and a hispanic man dual wielding machine guns. He wasn't able to keep up with them till the man in mask teleported to Vash and used his blade to hit him in the back. The man laughing with two machine guns also clipped Vash's leg. A huge explosion happend as Shepard and Liara where blasted across the sand. You needed to get out and panicked. It was happening again. You pulled the evac lever but it didn't work. Then you saw the woman throw her fist down and the blue orb around you shattered while exploding. What remained of your Titan flew threw the air.The Evac worked but your escape hatch faced the ground and sent you flying into it. You felt the warmth of the sun on your clothes and felt sand shifting under you as you were being dragged. You rolled over and could see Shepard face first in the ground sitting up yelling at you. Vash was unconscious in the back of the Vehicle. Liara was on the ground not moving. You looked up and saw the woman and the masked man. They were talking but you could only hear ringing. Then you saw the woman walk away. The masked man looked at her walking and you went for your pistol. You shot it at him and he seemed to just fizzle out and then he uncloaked next to your head. He pointed a rifle at your head. Your hearing came back just as the trigger was pulled and you heard the gunshot.

You woke up looking at a blue void. Thinking you were dead you sat up and saw more blue void and a door or two would pass by.

"ahh your awake." Said an otherworldly voice.

You turn to see just a white anthropomorphic shape standing near you.

“Need more people, worlds merging, what is actually going on?” Shercan was outraged. He was particularly struggling with his lack of motivation to do anything about this mess. He and Felicity were doing just fine beforehand. Why did everything have to change now? As Shercan followed the escorts into the pleasure district a nostalgic chill set over him. Maybe this place wasn’t so different from Rapture. They too had a place where all your needs could be met. The emotion was quickly ruined by the newest additions to their team. Shercan made sure to hold Felicity close to him the whole time.

“What exactly do you two need?” Shercan had to ask to interject these two from their minor quibble. The question was a bit more reflective than he wanted. It got him thinking; what exactly did he need? The thought had never occurred to Shercan prior to this. So many things were changing.

"What we need is to find that she-devil who is pulling all the strings here. She seems to know a lot about these two worlds merging and put us here after trying to fight mundus." The brother in blue said.

"Yea we need to do that but how genius? You don't have a plan and she got that new b***h that has a drill, which hurts like no other since you made me fight her. Thanks for that by the way. So lets just enjoy ourselves while we try to figure it out." the one in red said.

"Dante your so useless sometimes. What do you think I've been trying to do while your wasting your time." the blue one said.

"Maybe we should exchange information and team up. That way we could figure something out together and fix this giant mess." Armin blurted out.

"Yes....yes that will do. Come join us and share with us. I am Vergil and this one is my twin brother Dante." Vergil motioned for your party to sit down.

"ANGELS DADDY!!!" Felicity pointed at them, confused about her remark.

"I don't like either Yisemore. All life is sacred. The weed deserves to grow as much as the Flower. But not doing this could lead to hundreds of innocents to dying and damage. If the emperor is smart he will send people who could hold their own to do damage to their leaders, while we look for info. I think I'll have a pint now." Melerei exclaimed as she ordered a drink.

"So your saying that they're a bunch of new people who need their a** kicked right? How do we kill one of those giant beast without it's brain being destroyed. If we are going up against a horde, I think we need more than a few super soldiers to stop it. They been attacking temples as well, so something in the temples they need. O wait there is this thing about some creature called Ragnarok, that a monster from a disc said." Vallaris said before she explained the Monol's story.

With the mighty Fenrir at your hand you were a well calculated killing machine. Death struck with your every move to the endless stream of nurglings that poured from the craters nearby. Legolas and Tim joined in the fight. With the three of you swinging you could hold the waves at bay. The two summoners summoned the legends Leona and Kayle.

“This is pointless… look.” Tim pointed to the layer of already defeated nurglings and somehow they were regenerating. This was not a fight that could be won, not at the rate you guys were slaying them. “Follow me, hopefully we don’t fall into a pit of lava!” Tim began digging straight down again. This time he made sure the tunnel was large enough for everyone to fit. He had to carve out a space that was two by two blocks and maintain that with furious speed. Tim pulled out the big guns for this feat. He equipped what looked like pure diamonds cut out in the shape of a pickaxe. The tool effortlessly cut through the molten rock below the group. “Lets go!”

Everyone fought the nurglings off as they slowly backed into the hole. Just in time to because a deformed angry giant burst through a wall with a flood of lava streaming behind him. As soon as all the right heads had fallen into Tim’s little cave he quickly placed a layer of rock above them so nothing else could fall in with them without mining it out as well. Unfortunately that did not sound like much of a problem for the giant. He started banging on the floor above and with every hit shook the whole cave.

“Sorry this may be a bit unsafe but we need to rush forward.” Tim looked back to the group. He looked scared. Mining this way in the nether was against every rule of being a safe miner. At any moment he could open up a pocket of lava and have that spill into the cave tunnel. “Baldur you seem quick. I’ll need you to help me.” Tim held up to you a perfectly square block of stone. You held it outright in your hands. The square defied everything you understood about physics and you had seen some weird stuff before. In fact, in that one block of stone you could tell there were dozens of stones just like it inside.

“This is amazing trickery!”

“That is a stack of stone. Your holding about 64 blocks right there. While mining, if I break open a square of lava I need you to quickly put that block in its place. Can I trust you to do that?”

“No this cannot be. We do not have time to waste like this. Doctor, what did you do wrong? We have to save those people. I made a very rash sacrifice for the good of all the people. This matrix cannot be where it is safest to bring everyone?” Dr. VonKrutz was so frustrated. Every little victory only lead to another challenge. He was really beginning to miss his simple laboratory in Spira. Out of anger and spite Dr. VonKrutz adventured around the city not too far from the telephone pole. Something here had to help. This couldn’t be a dead end.

Baldur nodded his head. He had seen many technological wonders but they were still bounded by the laws of physics and this most certainly broke them. How he was able to dig as this pace was incredible. The rules of this world were strange. The mangintude of all these worlds baffled him. He didn't understand what was going on. This Tim guy seemed to know exactly what to do and he seemed trustworthy so far, atleast the beasts were after him to and Tim while able to hold himself in a battle was nothing compared to the others so they knew Tim needed them at the moment.

The Doctor looked around confused, baffled. The Tardis was no were to be seen either. This was impossible. What had happened? The shields of the Tardis should had prevented them from being teleported out. "This is impossible! What...what happened."

The terminator looked around the city, "It seems the the machines have pulled us into the Matrix to delay our voyage. We need to find a way out to make it to the city of light."

Neo looked at the terminator, "Well you're the one from the future, any ideas. Has this happened before?"

The Terminator turned towards Neo, "No not to my awareness."

The Doctor quickly gathered himself, "Well we need to find a way out. If the machines put us in here, then they should have an idea of where we are. We should move quickly and avoid detection."

The group began moving into the City. The doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and started pointing it all around as it beeped randomly. "Alright I think the Tardis landed over here somewhere. If we can find it maybe I can figure out how to get us out of here."

The group wandered the city for an hour following the Doctor's screw driver till they got to a sky scrapper, "Well its looks like its on the top of the building, weird" The Doctor said looking up.

Neo looked at the rest of the group, "Why do I think this is not going to be easy as an elevator ride?"

“I would like to say it is a pleasure meeting both of you but under these circumstances I truthfully feel like apologizing is more in order. I am sorry our worlds are colliding. Teaming up and looking for a way to fix this is the best course of action. Who is this she devil you refer to?” Shercan stepped forward to appropriately acknowledge both men. Shercan looked around at the rest of the group to see if anyone else understood what was going on.

“Whatever you need us to do Vergil I think we are all very capable. We have one that wields gravity, two that fly around using pressured gas with harpoons, and myself the super underwater soldier. I am pretty sure we can handle about anything.” Shercan laughed to himself as he spoke the words. He sounded so ridiculous but it was true. They were a powerful bunch who could do some weird things. “By the way you two kids, you guys need to make me some of that equipment. If I could zoom around like that I would easily be able to slay any threat.”

“Am…am I dead?” Desmond was befuddled. He watched in a daze as his surroundings melted, conformed, and then altered once more. The voice scared him. He jumped and looked over at the celestial being. “This can’t be right. How could I have died? Why?” Desmond fought his hardest to not cry. Everything that was going on put him over the edge. This was just too much to maintain.

“This one is on me.” Yiesmore proclaimed loudly as he waved his hand high in the air. His motion got the bartenders attention and drinks were filled to the brim. Yiesmore’s drowned his down past halfway in one fierce gulp. He slammed his goblet against the table.

“Yiesmore please clam down.” Aela put a hand over Yiesmore’s shoulder and began to rub at it. He looked at her for a length of time and then finished his pint. “He doesn’t mean to be so crude. He is usually right about these things. That is what the north has taught us. Negotiating only waste time. People always end up swinging swords at one another anyway.” Aela spoke quietly towards you. She too took a few gulps of her pint.

“Meleri you mustn’t worry about the negotiations. They will not work. Get as close as you can to their leader and murder him. Then get yourself out of there.”

The night continued on filled with drinks, conversation, and the occasional bar singing. As all nights do, this one came to an end. All heavy heads made their way to a bed but not yours. You had a mission. You collected yourself and then checked in at the armory gates. There you met an entourage of assassins and negotiators. Everyone was discussing the plan when you showed up.

“Alright plant lady what position are you, intelligence or negotiator?” A lion man asked as you approached. He pointed to both sides of him, showing the sides of the mission respectfully.

“You must be Meleri. She as tasked with an escort for the spies.” Familiar voice said from behind his hood. When your eyes found who was speaking you noticed it was Grey Fox. “Our mission is clear, we move in with the diplomats and then blend into the lines. We only have a few hours to get as much information as possible before having to move back out with the diplomats.” Grey Fox smiled. “Any questions?”

Dr. VonKrutz looked around in amazement. This city is nothing like he would have ever imagined. Computers are cool, but a whole city run off of technology was fantastic. He wondered if this is what Spira could be like with the use of machania. It looked as though most people lived for pleasure instead of fighting for survival. What a shame it is that all of this lead to such destruction. Maybe in the end the teachings of Yevon were right. What better example that machania is evil is there than the destruction they all faced. In that moment, even though he had not done one in quite some time, Dr. VonKrutz prayed to Yevon.

“I have my doubts too Doctor. We have extremely limited options however. We will face whatever obstacles come our way.” Dr. VonKrutz held Grim close as the group came to a stop in front of the sky scrapper. “No hesitation now. We need to move.” The eerie feeling that machines were watching them crept in from all over. Dr. VonKrutz was so uncomfortable.

Neo pushed open the doors and walked into the lobby. Everything seemed to be going normally as they walked towards the elevator. His nerves were on end, all they had to do was get to the top of the building and they would be fine, it appeared that the machines didn't know their location yet, or they were walking into a trap. The group made it to elevator and got in no problem. Dr. VonKrutz was confused as they stepped into the tiny box. It befuddled him when it started lifting into the air.

They made it 4 flights up the 30 story skyscrapper when suddenly the elevator stopped. A alarm sounds and the lights flashed. The sound was unlike anything VonKrutz had ever heard. The Terminator stared off into the distance, "The machines know we are here, they have the entire police force and swat team converging on our position. They are already coming up the stairs already. IT was a trap"

Neo and the Terminator drew their pistols waiting for the doors to open. The Doctor looked frantic, "These might not be their real bodies, but they will die just the same. We can't just shoot innocent"

The Terminator looked at the Doctor, "They won't feel the same about us."

Neo looked at the ground shame on his face, "He is right Doctor, I don't like having to, but we must for the greater good"
