Gren blinked, then smiled vacantly to himself. Most people weren't so nonchalant about an offered ride in a spaceship.
He glanced over to Crystal. "Hey now...How much have you had? Drinking yourself under the table and greeting him back when you're smashed isn't exactly a good way to go."

She was half tempted to fling her dagger at him, but it was still stuck in the door. Instead, she simply poured two glasses and offered him one. "There. Save me from myself."

"Don't you dare think I'm not stressed, too," James spat angrily, his fingers flying across the keyboard. "Az is in there, and she doesn't have access to a good half of her abilities, and I can't do a damn thing to help until I get this back online! Any questions?!"
Tyler blinked at James' rant; he was feeling the pressure, too, but he had a weaker connection to these people than James did. Perhaps it was for the best, though, as he was making progress in getting the visor feed back up online.

"I'm sorry about that, that was kind of jerky of me...I know you're stressed too; we all are. I'm just stressed because I spent a long afternoon darting around some rather heavy topics with my mother-in-law to be after having the tar beaten out of me last night, and my fiancee diving into this with only holy water bullets and not much else to his personal defense."
He glared hard into his glass. "I can't do anything at all." With that, he drained his glass in one shot.

"I, uh...wow..." James fell silent, looking over at Gren with a hint of guilt on his face.
Tyler smiled smugly as he got the visual feed to work again, only to see a view of Kru with a crossbow trained on her. Looking up at the others and hoping no one had seen it as well, he reversed part of his work and brought the system back down.
I'll check back in in a couple minutes...
"Az and Sol will bring him back," James said with conviction. "They haven't failed yet..."

He shook his head, smiling sadly at James. "There's no way to compare pain and worry, and no point in trying. Don't worry about it." Tyler's words brought him mild comfort, and he sneakily took the bottle from Crystal.

James nodded, getting back to work on reactivating the visual feed, unaware of Tyler's counter-hacking on the other side of the table. "I guess you're right about that...I'm just used to being her back-up."
Tyler continued to keep up with his efforts, wanting to give Azana a chance to get out of that tight spot before people at this end decided to become concerned. "Don't worry; we'll have it back up in no time. Besides, Knight and Sol wouldn't let anything happen."
Though they did...things must be rough... He shook his head slightly, waiting carefully for what seemed like a good time to let it back up. Unfortunately, this meant he couldn't get himself a drink without showing them the visual feed...but he could wait.

"Hm? Oh...yeah, sure," James said absently before he blinked and barked a victorious laugh. "And we're back online! I've got visual on Kru...and no one else...um, weird..."
Tyler brought up the window in a mild panic, only to see the lougarou unarmed and leading Azana elsewhere. For once, I'm a bit confused, too... He shook his head, standing up and heading toward the bar to fix himself a drink.

James watched carefully, noting a sudden increase in speed until...
"Remy and Emily...I've got confirmed visual! She's bustin' them out!" He jumped up from his seat, performing a slightly awkward celebratory dance. "I knew she wouldn't let us down!"
Tyler lifted his newly-poured glass to the operative and took a sip. One objective down... He thought, though that one was likely the easier of the pair. Sol was likely playing his part in the other...
