[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Zefi had been unable to find any hot chocolate packets so she decided to just go and rest. She sat on her bed but was unable to fall asleep so she just watched outside coughing every now and again waiting for Jeff.

[Angeles Valentine]

A red mist seeped under the door and floated mere inches from the ground, traveling through the room and up the stairs. Slowly it made it's way towards an empty room and slid under the door. The mist then rose up into a column and transformed into Angeles who was covered in blood, some of it her own. She turned around and locked the door and walked to the shower in the room, quickly getting undressed while hissing in pain. The sun had risen, and her wounds had not fully healed, she would have to live with them until the sun set again.

Angeles stepped into the shower and almost buckled as the hot water touched the open wounds but she bit her lip and endured it, letting the blood wash away down the drain. As the pain ebbed away she heaved a great sigh and rested her hand and forehead against the cool tile wall of the shower and whispered, "sanctuary."

After the wounds had been washed out Angeles stepped out of the shower and carefully dried off, then sat on the edge of the tub and began to bind her wounds. There was a long gash down her leg three cuts along her forearm and blistering burn marks on her left shoulder. A few other nicks and scratches here and there but she ignored them, taking care of the major wounds before getting dressed.

The clothes she wore did well to hide the bandages, though that meant that the folds brushed against them. She winced and sighed then put on the best poker face she could and went downstairs to sit at her table, looking at the empty chair across from her and wondering who would accompany her that day.

Kageko walked in through the door. She had decided to take a short break from her training and visit the inn. She noticed the vampire sitting in the corner. Not seeing anyone else around, she attempted to talk to the vampire again. "Ummm," she started, "hello."  

[Angeles Valentine]

"Hello," responded Angeles, lifting her head in order to see the woman that had come in through the door. Angeles' green eyes glanced over her for a bit before she took of her hat and set it on the table. the black moth on the brim fanned its wings as if thinking about what to do before going still on the hat rather than flutter around and land back on Angeles as it normally did, "sit if you like," she added nodding toward the only empty chair at her table.

Kageko sat down, "Thank you," she responded, "So how are things?"  

[HeadlessKoko]

She noticed that the woman had dozed off in her chair. "Well," she thought, "I guess that's inevitable. She is a vampire and it's getting to be morning. Plus, compared to the amount of energy she had before, she has a lot less now. She must have been in a battle or something." Kageko rose from her seat and decided to leave the woman alone. She moved to another seat and sat down.  

[Valentine Valtieri]

Ultima was playing with kiba and the red tips in his hair. "Well, I got the red out, how are things with you Kageko?" Ultima stopped playing long enough to look at her.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles shook herself awake and looked up to see the woman had left to sit in a chair away from her. Well at least she had the decency to not kill her in her sleep. Angeles winced slightly as she moved her hand into her pocket and withdrew Xander the sleeping bat and set him down on the table. He squeaked slightly and curled into a tighter ball and hid hid face in his wings, keeping out the light. She was glad that he was alright after what had happened the previous night. She then stood up from her seat and walked to the counter, leaning over and seeing that the supply of blood had not been replenished.

She groaned quietly and remained laying down on the counter for a bit before she slid off and walked back to her seat, sitting down carefully and rubbing her leg.  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren drummed his fingers on the counter top, stirring his drink idly.  

[MacPere]

MacPere slowly strolled down the inn's stairs, face neutral in expression.

Unearthing the fate of his late spouse had caused his mood to turn melancholy, but simultaneously, he couldn't help to pull a small smirk.

He'd netted Gren. ...Or so he hoped.  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren turned at the sound and smiled. The new point of interest had appeared, and perhaps a new topic was in order. Last night had been revealing, but not to the degree he was afraid it might have. Waving lightly, he took a swig of his cranberry juice and patted the bar stool next to him.  

[MacPere]

MacPere smiled softly and seated himself in the instructed stool, running a hand through his hair before addressing. "Gren~"  

[Gren_Eckener]

Turning after a fresh sip:"Yeah?"  

[MacPere]

"Good day~" MacPere places an arm around Gren's waist briefly to pull him closer and plant a soft peck to his cheek. "Has your insomnia let up?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren chuckled appreciatively and tapped MacPere on the nose."It has, thankfully. I don't know what sort of shape I'd be in today if it hadn't. You, ah, feeling okay after yesterday?"
