Sosol pulled on a spare shirt, the short-sleeved one that actually belonged to another friend of Azana's. He preferred long sleeves, but given the coming summer, perhaps this was a change for the best.
"I...I'm glad you weren't there. We cut it really close," he told her, putting his sunglasses back on and holding out a hand to her. "Come on...your geniuses are worrying and bickering like an old married couple."
Azana chuckled lightly, sliding into her slippers. "Chris is back, too, isn't he...?" She asked, a slightly mischievous smile on her face as a small spark jumped between her fingers. "I have words for him..."
"Not too much, I hope. It's been hard on everyone..."

Remy sighed, nodding agreement. "Perhaps," he said, in a hushed voice, "she really doesn't know how people work...and nobody's stuck around long enough to explain it."

"I could relate to that," James said with a sigh, happy that the room seemed to be calming down.
"That's more self-inflicted," Tyler retorted with a smirk, "and he said people, not women."
"Like you're one to talk...when was your last girlfriend?" He asked, his eyes narrowed.
Azana and Sosol arrived downstairs, and while both of them were still a bit shaky, they looked a lot better than when they had first returned. Azana was wide-eyed at Angeles, seeing her heavily wounded on one of the Inn's tables.
"Shouldn't we at least get her a bed or something?" She asked. While she was just as angry with her as the others, there was something to be said about being greeted with that sight.
"I could probably get her back to the medical room..." He offered.

"Well, I should be going. My team's going to want a status report, my best friend needs to be patched up and I want to spend some time with Crystal. Have the dynamic duo over there give me a call when Angeles comes around. I think I should be here to help out."
With that, he collected Crystal and Jake and left for Power Central.

He looked to Azana and Sosol. "I could move her, I guess...Damien just left her there, who knows when they'll be back from the hospital."

"H-hospital?!" Azana exclaimed. "Who..." She looked around the room, noticing the distinct lack of two people.
Sosol facepalmed at Remy's unwitting exposition. I was trying to avoid this... He thought, shaking his head. "Azana, I--"
She searched Angeles' pockets, not even paying mind to the fact that she was still in her pajamas, and finally produced her stolen cloak card. "Adeat!"
"Will you just wait a minute? Where do you think you're going like that?" He asked, understanding her concern but finding this to be hasty, even by her standards.

Azana glared back at Sosol, wrapping the cloak around herself. "Are you coming, too...?"
Sosol shook his head. "I've already seen too much..." He answered quietly. "But do you think you'll be able to make it there...? You've had barely an hour's sleep to recover..."
"It's will-based, and it's Eli. I'd make it even if it was Beijing General," she answered, pulling the hood over herself and vanishing from view.
James looked to Tyler, quirking an eyebrow as Azana left. "There's people, and then there's her..." He commented, cleaning up his area and freeing up the table once more. "Whoever figures her out should get a Nobel Prize."
Tyler chuckled, shaking his head before closing out his laptop. "It's not that hard...if it were you, James, she'd do the same."

"Hm...a bit more than that, Remy," he commented, though he waited until the young vampire returned from the medical room to finish his thought.
James listened to Tyler, intrigued by his thoughts. What did he mean "more"?
Sosol gave a sage nod to Tyler, confirming what he thought was the madman's idea. Lacking something better to do and desperately needing some stability in his life, he made his way behind the bar and tidied up. Apparently, someone had been drinking rather heavily in his absence...and by the choices, it wasn't Gren.

Tyler nodded in response, his table now clear. "Azana has an experience that is both positive and negative...unlike most of us, she's basically gotten to choose her family."
"Cheater. You peeked in her head."
"Doesn't change the facts. She's gotten increasingly protective and concerned about them, especially after that episode with her uncle..."

"Well, you'd be picky, too," James replied, folding his arms. His best friend...and her "relative". Suddenly, the relationship seemed a bit skewed.
"Or the ones you chose hurting you..." He muttered quietly, shaking his head before raising a hand and sending a drink order to Sosol.
