"That's good...she seems to be much better with food than--" He stopped, overhearing Chris...it brought a smile to his face, and he wondered exactly how long he could carry on the "Bubba" joke.
"I'll probably just stick to drinks and helping out for now..."
"Oh, they're going to go nuts when I show them these...!" James muttered to himself happily, already uploading the pictures onto his laptop. A real starship...sure, it was small, but that arguably made it even cooler.

"Hm...that is a big hint. If we could find out what vampires can taste, limit ourselves to those ingredients...it could just work, though I don't trust myself with it." Sosol thought aloud, his voice holding back the laughter from Chris' expert re-creation of Bubba's list.
"So, how are we having those tonight...?" He asked, wondering if something in there was the actual answer.

Sosol folded his arms, trying to come up with ideas...and wishing James and Tyler were here to offer their perspective. He chuckled at the small pun, leaving Chris and Nathan to their work.
"Tastes vary between people...is it a matter of diet? Blood type...?" He asked, mostly rhetorically.

Remy nodded. "Those are both influences...there's a certain degree of natural flavor to each, but diet is a factor. For example, if you drink from somebody who's totally sauced, it's a little like a pre-marinade."

Where's James when I need him...? Sosol thought, listening to the explanation. It definitely interested him, but he had no idea what to do with anything he was being told.
"I'd say I want to understand...but considering what that implies..." He shook his head, heading over to the bar and fixing himself a drink. "Want something?"

"I guess that's a start. Alright...experiment one." With a smile, he pulled out the two bottles, starting with a half-and-half blend in a small glass. "Let me know which way to go." He hovered the glass over for Remy's feedback.
Stella walked through the door, Azana's arm over her shoulder. "We're back...did you miss us...?" She called, surprisingly happy considering the state of her cousin.
Azana smiled weakly, resolving herself to magical training...starting tomorrow. Alright, Stella...your point's made...I have to take advantage of both sides. She held out the necklace, showing its new additions to the two gentlemen.

Without warning, the two chefs burst out of the kitchen carrying quite a spread. On Chris's tray was fried catfish with hushpuppies and french fries. Nate's was piled high with Nigirizushi, Makizushi, and Oshizushi. They set the two trays down as Chris shouted "Dig in, everyone!"

"...sushi...?" Azana said, taking the nearest seat she could as she looked over the necklace. In all honesty, she was a bit jealous; all that design, all that beauty...made to keep in a vampire who shouldn't have survived her plans.
The dangers of beauty... She nodded before looking with pleading eyes toward Sosol.
Sosol rolled his eyes behind his shades, a few pieces of sushi jumping up from the tray and onto a plate. He hovered it over to Azana and landed it in front of her before leaving the bar to tend to his own dinner.
"Awww...where'd the genius boys run off to? I had my grand bragging speech ready to go!" Stella complained, though that was quickly silenced by the appearance of dinner.
"Wow! Who came up with all these?"

The two chefs bowed to their culinary audience before they promptly pounced on their own creations. A long day of fishing, combined with all the preparations for the feast in front of them, had given the intrepid sportsmen an appetite for the ages.
