Angeles lowered her head as Gren came in and looked away from him but watched him out the corner of her eye.

Sosol gave the candy an odd look, picking up one of them with a bit of hesitation. Sure, it was that vegan substitute, but this didn't seem like something most would try. "Hmmm...maybe in a bit," he said, pocketing the candy for later.
"I think I'll pass," Azana answered with a smile, even though she had to admit she was curious about it. After a moment, she stood and took up one of the candies herself, catching Remy on the way back to the kitchen. She glanced over to Angeles, noticing that both of the stones were still glowing faintly.
It's still active...? Who would keep it on like that?

Gren groaned, flopping face-first onto the couch. Exhaustion was catching up with him. Maybe a nap? Not being alone with his thoughts might help. He gave a general wave to the room, unsure who was about.

Angeles looked over at Gren as he flopped down on the couch and wondered if it was her fault this time or someone else's. She stood slowly and moved over to the piano and sat on the bench. She rested her hands on the keys and paused, wondering what she would play.

Chris walked into the room and marched up the stairs, returning shortly and dragging a hog-tied and rather confused and drowsy Nate. "Come on, beaky. You're helping me drag all these parts off the delivery truck and then you're helping me fix that oven."
Nate screeched something at Chris, to which he replied "I don't care if it's not your 6 PM wake up call. You blew up the oven. You're going to help fix it."
The two disappeared outside and, after a few moments, came in with two big boxes of parts. They made a beeline for the kitchen, Chris stopping briefly to grab his toolbox, and vanished inside.

Angeles looked away from Gren as he spoke to her and focused on a spot on the piano before she lifted her wrists and pressed down on a chord and began to play a lullaby.

Sosol nodded in response to Gren, taking a nearby seat and looking up at Angeles. He had never heard her play the piano, and he was hoping this would be his chance.
Azana chuckled at a message from Skuld, typing in response. The blood candy remained on the table next to her, but she promised herself to try it eventually.

Sosol grinned as he leaned back into the chair, listening to the melody. Angeles certainly could play...but then again, five hundred years gave a person lots of time to practice.
Azana took a break from her timing, leaning over the back of her chair and watching the vampire play. She was still disconcerted about the continued use of the necklace, but asking Angeles wouldn't accomplish anything.

Angeles' fingers moved gently over the keys playing notes similar to an arpeggio with slight variance in the notes. Once the introduction was nearing its end her mind searched for the words to the song and her lips parted as she began to sing.

Remy walked out of the kitchen, bored with the stove, and watched with quiet fascination at Angeles' performance.

Sosol hovered over a glass of water, taking a sip as he enjoyed the show. I'm kind of glad to see this side of her...
Azana turned back to her laptop, still listening to the performance. She looked over the report last time, adding one note about her concerns about the necklace's abuse, and sent it on to the GMO with a small sigh of relief. Besides for removing the choker from Angeles, everything was finally behind her...
