Sosol chuckled lightly from the bar, watching the petals float to the floor. "Welcome back, Sleeping Beauty."
Azana walked over with her phone, pictures of both the flowers and of the culprit ready for show-and-tell.
Tyler finally arrived downstairs, noticing the flowers all around Gren. "...this puts a whole new spin on the term 'flower bed'."

He stared at the scene, breathing a bit hard through his nose, trying to adjust from his dreams, which hadn't been enjoyable. Discerning that there were flower petals and not blood puddles or strange chemicals, he rubbed his upper arm and looked around, recalibrating. "...Huh?"

Tyler watched Gren, his smile at the situation fading. Oh, I know that expression... He thought quietly, heading back into the kitchen. Dinner first, explanations after.
Azana chuckled, handing over her phone so he could catch up. "Apparently, your daughter thought you could use a bit of cheer..."

"Oh, is that so?"
Emily crawled out of her hiding place beneath the coffee table and laughed, running over and giving the man a hug. He smiled, chuckling, relaxing, heart rate slowly dropping to normal. He hugged her back, smiling. "Where'd you find all of these flowers, honey?"
"Outside!"
"Ha ha! Of course...silly me."

Sosol watched the two with a grin, glad to have the small child around. Not only was she starting to come out of her shell, she seemed to have a positive impact on the people here as well. "I hope those weren't from someone's garden..."
Azana picked up one of the purple flowers and tucked it into her hair, smiling at the colorful blossoms across the couch and floor. "Flowers would be nice around here, actually...what do you think, Sol? A vase for each table?"
"Maybe...but they wilt pretty quickly..." He answered, imagining the vases already. They would really brighten up the place, but replacing flowers every few days would get a little bothersome after a while.

Sighing, trying to calm down, he bumped the girl on his knee a bit before spinning her about. She'd meant so well, and really, had snapped him out of a hard place.

Baldur rushed down the stairs and returned with a vial of holy water. He turned the young man to his back and began to pour it on the wounds healing them nearly completely, leaving only red scars on his torso, "there, all better. I hope whatever it was did not follow you."
