Bladur fell silent and narrowed his eyes at gren's smile. The man knew he couldn't argue. Baldur turned again to his seat and sat quietly, the equivalent of pouting. Angeles looked at someone she did not quite recognize and narrowed her eyes slightly, "I know no one by those names," she said honestly but suspiciously. She moved away from the wall and turned into the kitchen for a glass of blood.

He chuckled. "I'll send along your acceptance." he replied, sipping his scotch. He blinked with a polite stare to Ayase. "No idea, Aya..." he said, setting down his tumbler to fetch a broom.

Angeles walked out an looked at the abandoned drink. She glanced over at Gren before walking over and sniffing at the drink. She glanced at him again before taking a sip. There was no flavor, but she felt the burn. With a slight grunt of discomfort she left the glass where it was and continued to drink the blood from her glass and made her way to her table in the corner.

"Can't taste it," said Angeles sitting down in her seat, "but it burns nonetheless," she took another drink of blood and did not look at Gren, "with all these thinks appearing that my variant can taste I was just beginning to wonder...," she trailed off, feeling the awkwardness appear as the somewhat normal conversation took place and her eyes fell to the ground, her grip on the glass tightening slightly.

Sweeping the petals calmly into a dustpan, he replied. "Seems to me that mixing blood with fluids is what makes it palatable. try mixing some with your blood in another cup; experiment. Can't hurt ya, right?"

Ayase said, "Okay... Maybe someone at GMO might know, because Miyazaki is a mind-reader, but, I'm not sure... and her abilities are only there because of her artifact, anyway..." Ayase returned her book to its card, and went back upstairs, hoping to make Fenyx's old room suitable for normal human habitation by morning...

Knight ignored Angeles's comment. For someone who had lived for centuries, she still knew so little. Omega Zero had been Knightsoul's problem since long before he had even met the vampire, and would no doubt continue to be a thorn in his side for many years to come. Zero and his superiors had seen the Knights face and defeat countless threats over the years. Knight's involvement in Angeles's defeat would do little to convince them to leave him be. They would continue to pursue him so long as he possessed Excalibur. As long as he held the sword, he could still fulfill the prophecy. They would do anything to prevent that.

Angeles looked at Gren. How could something as simple as mixing a liquid with blood create the flavor? If it really were that simple, her variant would have discovered it long ago. Then again she thought to herself most of my variant doesn't care enough to experiment...

He put away the broom, picking up the bottle of vanilla extract behind the bar as well as some of the stock of nectar, pouring the two together and blending neatly. He placed it next to her glass of blood. "Try that."
He then strolled over and joined Knightsoul. "So, why d'you think he's going to be an issue now, if you don't mind my asking?"

Angeles shrunk back from Gren when he set the glass down as if he would hit her. She also kept her eyes down, not looking at him. She looked at the glass in her peripheral vision before reaching for it and bringing it to her lips. the sweet liquid surprised her immediately and she chocked on the drink coughing slightly before setting the glass down.

Angeles cleared her throat and nodded, but did not touch the glass again, instead took up the cup of unflavored blood and drank from that.
