Phoenix looked after him in saddness and sorrow. She hoped he wasn't an empath or he would feel her pain. "He's working for someone more powerful than him," she whispered. She jumped off the bed and stalked after Rouge in anger. When she saw Damien, she shook her head and knelt down in front of him. "Who sent you Damien?"

He looked up at her in fear. "It doesn't matter," he whispered. "By this time tomorrow I'll be dead!"

*he walks out of the taven and smiles an evil smile* "your not going to die you wimp for you removed the poisen from phoenix which was the cure to the poisen i put in you but if you ever try to kill phoenix or any thing happens to phoenix that causes death you too shall die and i for one will be glad to see your evil hide gone for good." "now answer the nice ladys question." "tell us who you work for and why thay want tarok freed, and if you would be so kind could you also tell us where your boss is." "ya know this could work out for you as well cause i could free you from who ever this boss is that you work for." "for there is no know power grater than that of a dragon."

Phoenix looked down at Damien with grim pleasure. It's about time someone made him pay for his crimes against others! She thoguht.

Damien looked at the Dragon in fear. "Who said my master isn't a Dragon himself?" He asked. "I know your poisen won't kill me now, but once he know I was captured, he'll kill me! I'm a dead man!"

Dmitri looked down at Damien and smiled. "What makes you think we want you alive?" He asked as he leaned against a tree. "Now, who do you work for Damien?"

*he smiles showing his fangs* "a dragon huh. well guess what i just took on a dragon not long ago and won, so there is very good chance for you that i can beat your boss who ever he is. now talk spill his name and what he is and where he is."

Phoenix layed a hand on Rouge's arm before his temper became uncontrolable. "Peace gentlemen," she said. "Cool heads."

*he closed his eyes a took a deep breath and let it out slowly before he opened his eyes again* "ok phoenix you see if you can get any info out of him cause i just want to kick some butt weather it be his or his bosses or even tarok who ever he is im ready to fight." *he goes and leans against a tree not far away his sharp ears could hear what was being said even if it was a whisper. he watches the other vamps carefuly for he did not trust damien at all.*

Phoenix looked at Rouge with a small smile on her face. He was more like Damien than he wanted to admitt. "If you would relax I'll see what I can do," she said. She walked through Dmitri and Rouge's shields to kneel down next to Damien. She placed her hands on either side of his head and entered his mind.

Damien felt Phoenix gently sort through his thoughts and memories. When she was done, he looked up at her before she left his mind. Now you know what will happen to me when he finds out I was captured, he said. Now you know what horrible fate awaits me when he does. He looked away from her and outside into the daylight.

Dmitri felt Phoenix shifting through Damien's memories. To him, it sounded like leaves falling from a dead tree in the winter.

"I know who he is," she said. "He is a Dragon named Aku."

*he walks back over to the others* " Aku huh. can you tell me more phoenix i want to know all about this Aku. how big is he compared to me? what dose he look like? please my love tell me all that you know." *he gently takes phoenixs hands in his and kisses her forhead* "please i need to know if i have any hope of taking this dragon on."

Phoenix looked her love in the eyes. "It is said that Aku is the oldest living Dragon in existance. There is only one dragon older than him. His name is Dreito," she muttered. She looked at Dmitri. "You know where he is. I know you do. Will you find him and tell him of all that has past?" Dmitri nodded and vanished out the door. "You can't fight Aku, my love. He is more powerful than you ever could be. He deals in dark magic."

*he lets out a roar of furstration* "phoenix my dear i do love you but i can beat him after all it was Dreito him self that taught me how to fight and use dragon magic." "i'm sure when he gets here he will let me take on Aku." "Dreito is to old to fight any more, this fight will kill him for sure after all Aku is younger then Dreito." "that is why Dreito took me under his wing and taught me all that he knows. so that one day i can take his place as the dragon protector."

Phoenix cursed herself. She had always sworn she would never be one of those twittering females who fell all over those they loved to provent them from fighting. SHe couldn't do it even now. SHe loved Rouge more than she had ever loved anyone in her life, even Damien. "I will trust Dreito's judgement," she whispered. "But that doesn't mean I have to like it." She walked away from Rouge before he could answer. Tears of pain, saddness and fear fell from her eyes. Why did love have to hurt so much? This is why she had never thought to look for her mate and had stayed with Damien. Love caused problems and she would rather choose to lose it than to have Death take it from her. She whipped the tears away and leaned against a tree. She cried harder than she ever had in her life. She felt so lost and alone.

*he could feel her pain even tho he could not see the fact that she was crying. he wished there was a way to prove to her that he was far stronger then what he looked. he hoped that Dreito would get her soon so he could talk to his old master. he knew that Aku is strong and older then him and maybe bigger then him. for dragons get bigger the older thay get but he also knew that the older a dragon is the slower thay get and the more set thay are in there fighting ways. so he was not scard of Aku or what he could do but he was scard that he might lose his love phoenix. he went after her in to the woods. "uh phoenix." he saw her crying against a tree. "phoenix my love." "please trust me, belive in me that i can do this." "i need you with me." "i love you more then life its self." he sighed and hung his head and turned to leave. " i dont want to lose you my love if anything i fear loseing you more than anything else." "i love you phoenix if i lose you i just cant bare to stay here any longer." he walks away slowly knowing that he might not have a chance against Aku with out her to help him to incurage him.

Phoenix turned and looked at him. "I'm scared of losing you," she said. "I couldn't bear to lose you either. I love you so much. I know you can fight him. I just don't know if you can win if you fight alone. Dreito is wise but he is old. He can't fight. You can, but you can't win if you fight alone. That's what I'm worried about. I'm scared for you. I don't want to lose you now that I've found you. I couldn't bear that." She hugged him to her tightly, fearing that if she let go, she would lose him.

"then join with me, you and i can become one and fight as one with out using my ultment move." " with my ultment move i can join with any one to become stronger,and faster." "but with you my love i dont need to use that move cause of our love for each other we are already one." he smiles at her then steps back as his hand starts to glow, he plunges his hand in to his chest where his heart is grabs something deep inside him as he pulls on it his face contorts with a little pain he falls to one knee as he continues to pull the item out of his chest. once the item is free he looks up at her and smiles as his hand stops glowing then item is reviled. there in his hand is a ring of pure white gold with a jewel of red on it that changed color he gently takes her hand and places the ring on her finger. "with this ring when ever we need to fight as one fill the ring with your power and love and we shall become one, also with that ring you can become the white fire version of what your named after, with all the powers of the bird its self plus a few dragon powers that you can use when ever your in trouble but dont really need me there to solve them." he smiles at her as he gets to his feet. he pulls her close to him and holds her for a bit then kisses her lips and taking her by the hand thay go back to where the others are ready to fight Aku.

Phoenix looked down at the ring on her hand and smiled. It seemed to feed her a steady flow of his Dragon energy, covering her powers with his own. The gem was beautiful. The power the gem held was astounding to her. "There is another way for us to become one," she whispered to him. "Not so much of a Vampire way, there are those, but the way I am thinking is a way I discovered with my own personal fire powers. I'm not called 'phoenix' for nothing you know." She smiled at her true love.
