Zulma smiled at the giggle, as clear as a mountain spring. She loved the laugh of children. She chuckled at Baldur's move.
"Gentle please Baldur." she scowled him but not for long as the panther turned to her and nudged her. Her eyes softened immediately and she sat on the carpet by the fire, her arms wrapped around his neck. She buried her face in his fur with a sigh of delight.
She hesitated a moment, then pulled the crystal from her pocket and put it around his neck.
'Now we can hear each other again...although I am not sure I want you to 'hear' all my thoughts...' as she thought a flash came to her mind of Baldur and Zulma kissing...except that they had no clothes on! Zulma blushed.
'Maybe I should remove the crystal?' she asked shyly.
It took long minutes to Jeff before he at last stood up and left the Inn...

Baldur rubbed his head against Zulma's shoulder and continued to purr, looking down at the crystal before the image entered his mind and he chuffed slightly and looked at Zulma with large curious and somewhat surprised eyes.
What was that? he asked her through the link of the crystal.

The question totally threw the innkeeper off. She opened her mouth to answer then remembered that she just needed to think.
this.. her cheeks were bright pink. The woman was trying to organize her thoughts and make a full sentence, without realizing that she was thinking at the same time sending more images and words to Baldur. ...when two humans love each other... A flash of Baldur removing her shirt. love making... A flash of them kissing on the bed ...I would want one day to do that with you... A flash of...
Then the poor woman whispered. "I don't know how to explain..."

Baldur tried to sort through the sudden onslaught of words and images and shook his head slightly as his confusion only worsened. After a moment the thoughts stopped as Zulma spoke out loud.
Baldur laid his head down and pulled his ears back trying to understand, love making? that made the least sense of everything. He then nudged her leg and thought, don't worry about it, you're tried. Try to explain tomorrow if you can.

Zulma nodded, trying to calm down her thoughts.
She put her head back against the panther. He was so much better than her at controlling his emotions and thoughts, although she could feel that he was a little confused.
She was about to doze off a little when a scary thought came to her mind.
Can you...'hear' me when I dream?! she was realizing how much Baldur probably knew about her most intimate thoughts!!!
After his answer, she slowly fell asleep wrapped around his neck, feeling safe and loved.

Baldur looked at Zulma as he felt her panic then thought about her question before answering, no, I cannot. HE quieted and purred as she fell asleep. He sighed from his lie, but it put her mind at ease. Why was it so important? He laid his head down and closed his eyes and began to think about what he had ever seen in Zulma's thoughts.

Gren wandered in, looking somewhat tired, but very happy. "H'lo...sorry I'm late, things went very well." he grinned, hanging his jacket.

Emily scrambled out of Sosol's lap and ran to Gren, "I rode the kitty!" she said excitedly and a sound like a groan came from where Baldur was laying and his ears laid flat on his head.
Angeles came down the stairs and hesitated before looking up at Gren, the defeat still in her eyes and the stones still glowing. What now? She tightly gripped the handrail.

"We're all in agreement, then? Finally?" He asked, getting nods around the table before he heard the door close. Tyler glanced over Sosol's head, taking note of Gren's arrival. "Hey there."
Max jumped up from her seat, practically skipping over to Gren. "Evenin', ya stool pigeon," she greeted jokingly before making a small spin. "Ya like?"
Azana and Sosol each offered a casual wave and a smile. "Oh, Gren...there's cake in the kitchen if you want a slice."

Emily shook her head then leaned over, "thank you kitty!" Baldur groaned slightly again in response but did not move.
Angeles lost courage almost instantly when she decided on what she should do and made her way back upstairs.

"Let's just say she has a promising rodeo career," Sosol answered, a small look of pity to the sleeping panther.
"Don't thank me...thank Remy, and Emily...and Tyler, too." Azana smirked, wondering how Emily would go about explaining it...
"Someone who can appreciate style...too bad ya ain't younger," she said with a playful wink, heading back to the table and her glass.

Max looked down at their written plan. "So, I create an identity and set up the meeting...easy peasy, Ty!"
"I take the location info and look it over with Skuld," Sosol continued with a nod. "Doesn't sound too difficult."
"Remember...the less Stella knows, the better. The moment she throws the weight of the GMO behind it, they'll act, and drastically."
"So, keep it quiet, get the information, and figure out who's going in based on the results." Azana finished, crossing her legs. "And you've already crossed off myself, Max, and you..."
