D did not move as the redhead came to stand by him and gave the man money. D looked the redhead over before glancing at Tyler and the pieces the man was looking at. D held out his left hand to the pieces. The parasite's face emerged from his palm and began humming in thought, "so that's what happened," it said, "no wonder everyone has put this on priority."

Gren returned with a generous serving of pasta and sauce, cheese on the side, smiling broadly. "It's not quite pasta bake, but it's pasta...want any?" he asked, sitting down. "I'll share."
(It's dinner time! I will be back after a burrito.)

Azana trudged down the stairs, grumbling under her breath...something about techno and typing. She reached the main room, looking around at everyone. Gren and Eli were sharing pasta, and Tyler was still working with Tekker with a rather sizable amount of money on the table nearby.
She crossed the main room, making her way to the bar to find something caffeinated.

Noting Azana walk down the stairs, MacPere rose his arm in beckoning, smiling. "Azana, my love! Wouldn't happen to have your cousin's number, would you?"

Azana glanced over as her name was called, finding Eli flagging her down. "Stella...? Yeah, sure. Actually, you missed her last night. I tried to get her in on this, but she put Erik on the mission in her place..."
She looked through her contacts, finally reaching her cousin's number. "I honestly forgot he was one of us...hasn't been around much, you know?" She read off the number slowly, wondering why Stella hadn't gotten it to her "consultant" yet...
Tyler smirked, the pieces coming together nicely...he'd have to find something to replace the shattered cover, but that could wait until the interior was complete.

Nodding as the number was read off and he typed it into his phone, MacPere smiled. "She isn't going? Mm, maybe it has something to do with our date, but at least her replacement is perfectly capable~?"
He added the contact with a happy hum, nodding. "Thank you for that, my dear... Much obliged~"

"No problem!" Azana answered with a smile. "I was really hoping, though...Stella hasn't had much of a chance to make some magic recently, except for that necklace. Last time she cut loose was on me..." She could almost feel the pain in her ribs again at the thought.
"Just don't call her at weird hours, alright?"

"Indeed there is, love of mine~" MacPere purred, leaning forward to bite the pasta off of his fork. "I've set up a meeting with most of my contacts for Stella to meet and network with. I need to call her to confirm that she has the date right... You'd be surprised how often clients forget~"

Chewing heartily, MacPere began as he swallowed, smiling. "Next week. I'm sorry... Though, I doubt I'll be able to do anything with this wreck of an arm, but alas~"

Azana strolled over toward Tyler, two glasses of cola in hand. She sat at his table, setting the glass near him and reading the business card.
"A psychologist?"
Tyler shrugged, taking a moment to stop and sip the drink. "Thanks. Yeah...MacPere apparently knows a few of them and seems to think a session might be a good idea."
"That explains the cash...what's the prognosis on Tekker here?"
"The memory is surprisingly intact...it's just almost everything else that's wrecked. I should have him up and running sometime today, if all goes well." He looked at the table, its surface slowly becoming emptier as the pieces either went back into his bag or into Tekker itself.
"Stacy didn't know about the rest of the team...she seems pretty shaken."
"I would be, too, if I suddenly found out all of you vanished like that," Azana replied, crossing one leg over the other, "and they seem really close."

Gren nodded. "Okay...and, about that...I was thinking, maybe...well, I got this unicorn horn, 'cause it can heal vampires without holy magic...I'm wondering if we couldn't use it to mend your arm too, though I don't know a thing about using it."
