"It's almost time... time to awake the great beast!" He says slowly while trying not to be consumed by the flames of excitement that grow within him.
"For too long we have awaited this moment... for too long we have sat and watched as others have attempted and failed to do what we will do." The beast arises, making itself known to the others present.
"Indeed... it's quite laughable really..." He chuckles, looking at the large serpent.
"The question now is whether or not he is truly ready for the task at hand." The knight speaks while entering with heavy steps.
"Master is a strong one, he will succeed just as the master before him did..." It speaks silently as if it's comments were not necessary.
"Hush up you beastly bull, sure he may have awakened the beast, but he failed to control it..." He scolds.
"It is true... completion of this task to two-pronged. Not only must one awaken the beast, they must also control it. The first is easy, the second is not." It roars in objection
"Bah... the 1st task is not easy at all!" He rolls his eyes and laughs.
"True enough, the 1st task involves passing the trials... that alone has killed many whom have tried..." She shakes her head.
"Then it seems that once again we must wait." It sighs while preparing to depart. "But let it be known... I am growing tired of all this waiting..." With that it returns to the dark seas.
"What a heavy grouch that one is." He folds his arms and sighs.
"You say that as if you're not also growing tired." She glares with dark eyes.
"Well it is true, I am beginning to desire for events to speed up, but... who's to say that I am not also enjoying the extended journey to the blissfully painful climax." He returns the glare.
"Sounds about right... well enjoy the show then." She turns and leaves, kicking up dust with her long cape.
"Oh but I will. Come along no, you... we've much preparing to do." He turns to the beast.
"..." It nods silently and follows.
