Kageko had easily felt the battle of auras that Angeles and D were having and it wasn't exactly helping with her nerves. Luckily, though, before she broke down from the tension--breaking down for her had a number of different meanings--Remy arrived and Angeles was downstairs in no time. Kageko thought to herself as she managed to actually relax, Tired from the recent tension and drowsy for the tea that she had just finished, Kageko washed the cup in the kitchen and walked upstairs to her usual room. Once there, she let herself fall onto the bed and immediately fell asleep.

Tyler sat downstairs, his entire body tense although he was lost in thought. Talking to Max last night about the meeting confirmed just about everything he had feared, especially the unidentified woman's interest in his decoding program.
If she finds someone to crack that... He shook his head; they had already figured out how to extract and delete memories. To be able to read them as well would be nothing less than disastrous.

She might already have someone to crack it. All she has to do is crack him. Stacy came downstairs, her moodiness eclipsing her normal radiance. Tyler was worried, and rightly so. If this woman could get to Chris and get him to crack the program, they would have a whole lot of bad on their plates.
She grabbed a glass of water from the kitchen and took a seat next to Tyler. "Penny for your thoughts?"

Tyler looked over to Stacy, his expression softening slightly to simple concern. "We can't be sure that these are related...though if they are..." He shook his head, looking straight ahead once more.
"She said I was to deal with her personally...she's trying to trap me."

"I find it pretty suspicious that your blueprints turn up on the black market a handful of days after one of the brightest minds within a thousand miles goes missing. Every cop instinct I have says it's connected. Who is she? Why is she trying to trap you?"

Trudging downstairs, MacPere held a hand to his head, shying away from noise or light. The mixture of wines, vigourous activities and a floating bed all lead to a powerful hangover, he found as he heaved over the toilet earlier in the day.
To those inhabiting the room, he gave a half-hearted wave and a groan in acknowledgment, getting himself a glass of ice water.

"I wish I knew," Tyler answered, resting his forearms on his knees. "I've worked with a lot of people over the past few years...I'm sure I've made some enemies along the way. I just don't know who this is."
At MacPere's arrival, he waved in return. "Rough night...?"

"You have no idea..." He mumbled, downing the drink and filling the butler's sink with water and ice, removing his sunglasses and dunking his head in it.

"Comes with the territory," she told Tyler as she also waved at the redhead. "We all have our demons. What about this program? If she has the gang and she does convince Chris to crack it, what could she use it for?"

"By itself, it's practically useless," Tyler explained. "It's part of a matching set...a device and a program. They have both, but they can only work one of them. It's a system that allows a person to translate memories into a digital file...the program they're trying to break into takes the data and makes it into a visual form; it, in short, decodes memories from the device."

"So, theoretically, if they got it working, and plugged Chris into it, they could copy his memories and have access to all of his technology. That would be incredibly bad."

"Or mine. Or find themselves a federal agent and steal military secrets. A banker with a safe combination. The possibilities, when abused, are endless."

Blowing bubbles in the water, MacPere drew his head back with a slight grimace as his head twinged in protest. Mmm... Maybe that is more suited to torture... I'll remember in future. He thought to himself, coughing into one hand, allowing his hair to drip dry.

Tyler chuckled at MacPere, the momentary break from the mounting troubles heavily appreciated. "Was the day itself worth it? You two came in in quite a good mood..."
Max came downstairs, letting out a very large yawn and waving to the others. "Hullo," she greeted, sitting at Azana's laptop. She had very little to go on so far as the woman they had met last night...but if she could find anything, anything at all...it was better than where they were at the time.

"Oh, most certainly... A nice picnic, skinny-sipping, talking over wine... It honestly couldn't have been better. That is, if you minus the floating bed." MacPere flicked his hair back and guided it over his head with a hand, smoothing it back.
"How was your night?"
