"I was thinking more along the lines of a blood sample, actually. TEKKER and I can do the analysis in a few hours time. It will tell us what effects this thing is having on your physiology. Maybe there could be a way to replicate it. We could help our soldiers better defend themselves."  

[Angeles Valentine]

"I see," said Angeles not willing to use her power on Zulma again. She hummed in thought and tapped her sharpened nails against the table, "is the dream reoccurring?" she wondered if there was anything she could do to help Zulma get rid of the nightmare. She could probably ask the Baku to eat the dreams, but that would eat the pleasant dreams as well as the nightmares.  

[Zulma san]

Zulma looked at her friend. "Do not worry Angeles, I have learned to live with my nightmares....that one had just a stronger impact because of the strength of my feeling for Karasu. Even if I haven't seen him for a while." she chuckled, but it was a sad chuckled.  

[Ale Posselna]

" Your theory makes sense. Yet it's sad that we can't do much for them..." she sighed. " I fell so helpless. It seems no matter what we do, everything ends up fading away , because the Overseer is no longer with us. Danmed the Threads who refuse to be changed..." She crossed her arms, disapointed.

-Sighing- "you take all the fun out of it, and to be honest...I doubt anything in my blood is the case...it could merely be a spiritual augmentation to be honest...thats usually how these faith things work." -he give knight a serious look- "Though I have to say...I will NOT be used for some sort of alchemical component to further this war along...its over, I tend to keep it that way. I'm no longer fighting for either side....Im going to fight both sides." -Looking at Ale- "That little trip I took...was to that SIN research lab. I heard some BOO vets were going to raid it and decimate everything in it...so I stopped them." -he looked down- "Not all of them had to be stopped by force...but those that did were dealt with. I'm not willing to risk another war here. And neither should either of you. There are still people out there that want to continue...I'ts my job to try and stop them."

Angeles nodded but worried none the less. She reached into her jacket and pulled out the summoning tome, taking the marker from the page of the owls and began looking for something else, anything that could help Zulma whatsoever. Xander's ears twitched as he watched Angeles flip the pages and Indara fanned her wings again.

"I want to help you Zulma. Someone who desperately seeks for the peace between people should have peace for themselves."  

[Ale Posselna]

Ale felt unsure of what to say to that statement " You're not the only one who shares that feeling. Yet you're willing to resort to violence to prevent another war." She felt a loss for words as she finished her sentence. " I... need to be alone for a while, to think about all this. I'll go for a walk." and she walked to the door. It was not a pleasant night outside, but she was going anyway.

OOC- logging off, i'm going to bed. We'll continue this tomorrow, hopefully.

"I'm not trying to further this war. I should have never suggested that. My apologies. I am, however, a scientist by nature, and I want to figure out how this works and how it could be practically applied. I'll do some brainstorming tonight and get back to you later." He stood up from the table. "Have a nice evening, guys. I'll probably see you in the morning."

Star continued siting at the bar siping her wine.

Zulma's hand reached over the table and softly pressed on the vampire's wrist. "Thank you." but she shook her head. "I might not be ready for inner peace yet." she removed her hand, but not before brushing the little bat. "I like Xander." she said with a chuckle, looking at it tenderly.

-standing up and following after Ale he said- "You mistook what I said apparently." -heading outside while trying to explain the situation- "When I say force, I don't mean killing people. Some people simply ignored the verbal warnings and so I sent them to the nearest BOO or neutral town and that was that. Listen I know theres no way for me to get out of this without some sort of resentment or something...I'm sorry, I just did what I felt might finally do some good... but I suppose I can let you go to think, just stay safe-" -he said touching her hair and leaving a few wings on her hair like clips-  

[Gren_Eckener]

Entering with a chilly breeze from the front door, Gren sighed and set down his saxophone case, removing his coat to hang it up. He took his case up the the bar, wheer he'd often found himself waiting on nights like this. He was glad that Zulma was still in, but didn't want to interrupt her.

Glancing to his left, he saw Star, sipping wine, and frowned.

-walking back in the Inn Aris looked over to Zulma talking to the mysterious woman he had seen the first night he came to the Inn, instead of intruding he went back to his seat and got his drink and headed to the bar to wait for her to be finished before trying to talk to her as before-

Angeles felt warmth on her wrist and looked up at Zulma. Her words disheartened her but Angeles consented and shut the book, "as I was telling Gren," she said as the named walked in, "the 'children of the night' seem to flock to me, wolves, bats, moths, owls and rats. I own one of each except for a rat. Xander is short for Alexander, the moth is Indara, outside is my noble wolf December, and I don't have the name for the owl," Angeles smiled, "I'm actually surprised no one has been startled or concerned about December's presence, he is as large as a horse."

Star put her wine down and tried to think.There was one question that she couldn't answer.Why can't she trust people easaly?She noticed Gren frown at her and she cocked her head to the side,as if she didn't know why.She had a feeling she knew why though.
