With a sigh, MacPere shook his head to the barrage of questions, escorting his mother in, arm in his, by force.
"Eliwood, your day wasn't all too marvellous... Should I get you something to drink?"
"No thank you, mother..."
"How about something to eat... You can't do all that exercise on an empty stomach!"
"Again, no thank you, mother..." He sighed, sitting her at a table before strolling to the bar and fixing her a glass of juice.
"At least get yourself something whilst you're there!"
"Mother, please... I am fine."

Sosol walked downstairs, cleaning off his shades when he noticed two people already in the main room. He immediately placed the sunglasses back on his face, covering his grey eyes as he glanced over to the first customers of the day.
"Oh! You're back...and Eleanora. It's good to see you again."

Eleanora gave a somewhat shy wave, thanking her son as he brought her back the glass. "Good afternoon..."

"Let's see...I got to know Max a little better, and Tekker was having a game of chess with Tyler's laptop...other than that, not really. It was very quiet, with almost everyone out somewhere..." Sosol reported, taking a seat rather than getting into his usual routine. Things were quiet for once...he was going to relish it.

"I see..." He murmured, setting his chin in one hand. "I'm guessing that she and Tyler have spent the night somewhere, a hotel, most likely..." He grimaced, shaking his head a little. "I wonder how many STDs she is infested wi--"
Eleanora frowned and gave the back of MacPere's head a slap, tutting. "Eliwood! Do not talk about ladies in such a way!"

Sosol frowned, trying his best to allow Eleanora to say what he would have liked to. "I haven't heard from them, but I guess that's nothing new...Tyler's never been the kind for constant contact."
Max came downstairs in an exuberant mood. The conversation with Remy the night before had done wonders on that gloom she was feeling considering Tyler and Stacy. It was just a night out...no big deal.

Max practically skipped across the room, hugging MacPere before looking over to Eleanora. "Who's the grandma?"
Sosol brought a hand up to his face...couldn't Max ever be tactful...? "That's Eli's mother..."
"O~h! She's an actual grandma! Nice to meecha!"

"Grandma?" Eleanora questioned with a frown, giving MacPere another slap to the back of the head at his sniggering. "Be quiet, Eiran, you aren't all that young yourself, if I recall."

Sosol couldn't help but chuckle at the mother and son, finding the relatively sudden change in their dynamic both amusing and heartwarming. I guess at least part of it worked... He thought before Tekker addressed him.
"Really? Please, feel free to enlighten us."
"Not every day the computer does the work for me...wacha got?" She asked, still near MacPere. She liked Eleanora...someone who could put the billionaire in his place like that instantly won her respect.

Satisfied that the previous night hadn't left a sour taste between them, he merrily scooted into the embrace. "I'm sorry I walked off like that yesterday, dear..." he murmured lovingly. "I shouldn't have done that."
He smiled happily to Eleanora. "I didn't expect to see you here...how are you?"
