"Alright, let's review. A couple weeks ago, Tyler's residence is ransacked for tech...a few days later, about a week ago, the Knights get captured except for Stacy."
Sosol nodded. "We arrange a meeting at Bella Luna, where Remy and Max meet Lady Macbeth, see photos of the tech, and barely escape."
"We find out Omega Zero is responsible for the Knights' disappearance and start preparing for a rather difficult extraction mission, only to get a trace on his sword thanks to Tekker."
"In the meantime, Stacy and Tyler have dinner at Bella Luna, but only Stacy returns. Do you think Omega would let her go like that?"
"If that was after Chris' fight, maybe. Chris doesn't go down easy; his rival wouldn't either. In that state, an easier target would be appealing...nothing against Hunter, but I wouldn't want to go against Synapse without being ready."
"Either way, we know Macbeth is involved, and the most likely place to talk with her."
"You think that's our next step?"
"Can I say somethin'?" Max interjected at last, arms folded. At their silence, she smiled. "Thank ya. They took Ty, under a psychic's nose, at that restaurant. I don't wanna meet on their terms again. If we're gonna try this, we need a change of scenery."

"My highroad would be killing him instead. Believe me, sweetheart." Taking the empty glasses and allowing the man to sleep, MacPere delivered a kiss to the temple before exiting and closing the door behind him.
"Bloody b*****d, thinking that he'll get away with incapacitating me..." He murmured on his way back down the stairs, washing up the glasses behind the bar.

Zulma exited the kitchen and found MacPere behind the bar, washing glasses.
"Hello MacPere." beamed the woman and she gave the red hair a hug.

"Oh I seeeeeeeee..." Zulma's sentence lingered as MacPere pulled her to him.
She bit her lips and looked at her feet for a second.
"MacPere...you are such a flirt!" she was both pleased and bothered by his kiss.
He could teach some tricks to Baldur... thought the woman.
"No he would not." she answered pretending being angry at MacPere.

"Okay, so what did I miss?" Kageko asked as soon as she entered the inn. She had done a scan of it and, to her surprise, found that Angeles wasn't in it anymore. The girl continued, "Did you guys finally take Angeles off of house arrest?".
