Sounds like somebody's a little bit jealous! blaugh
At least your brother seems to know how to treat girls. (He actually pays attention to them! Lots of guys don't understand the concept of "quality time," believe me. cry ) I actually thought you had quite a few local friends, Chibi. confused Anyway...I still haven't been to the movies lately, but I'm supposed to go bowling with a group from church tomorrow night.

Well, I have two groups of friends: my local friends and my college friends. My local friends are at various colleges to far away for us to hang out except for when they are home on break. My college friends (referring to my old college) are scattered around their own hometowns now they they are no longer in college. I have a few friends at my new college, but none who I actually hang out with. My one friend at my new college who I am close enough to to hang out with commutes an hour to school everyday from the opposite direction of where I live. sweatdrop But, I do have two friends who live about 45 minutes away from me. I see them sometimes, but only once a month or every other month. Malomy is one of them. (She doesn't have a car, so it is kind of hard to get together. So, simple hang out time takes quite a bit of gas money and time.) sad That's why I was a little socialite over the break. I wanted to enjoy my friends while I could.

And about my brother, he habitually lies to his girlfriends, so that isn't much better than the neglect. xp

Ick! What is it with so many guys!? Why do they think they have to be liars!? Grrr! xp evil Oh, well. Maybe your brother will eventually figure out that he'll be a lot happier in his relationships if he keeps things honest. No woman likes being lied to. scream And guys shouldn't think they can get away with lying, either! They eventually get found out. Anyway...
And yeah, I totally understand about not having a lot of local friends (and not having much time to hang out with the friends who do live nearby). My problem, though, is that most of my local friends are older than I am, so they're already settled down and have spouses and kids, so it's hard to find time to just hang out. But I'm getting more involved doing stuff at church. I'm going bowling tomorrow with a church group, and I'm also going to the church-wide Valentine's Day banquet (which will actually be on February 13 since the 14th is a Sunday) despite the fact that I don't have a date. I decided that I'm not going to just sit at home that weekend just because I don't have a boyfriend. biggrin

We are having a Valentine's Banquet at my church too. I'm going to be singing in it. biggrin I played some pieces on my flute last year, but I think I'm going to make use of my voice lessons this time. heart Although, I don't know what I'm going to sing yet. I was thinking about "When I Fall In Love," by Nat King Cole. 3nodding

My brother mostly lies about old relationships and stuff. He also lies about what he is doing and what he has to do when his girlfriends call, so he won't have to talk/see them when he doesn't feel like his. He chooses some really possessive girls. @_@

confused Define "possessive." (Just because his girlfriends want to spend time with him--and occasionally spend time alone with him--doesn't mean that they're possessive.) (Sorry, I get all defensive over this because my ex avoided me all the time. I mean, I would MAYBE get to see him twice a month--on a good month--when he only lived a couple of miles away. The fact that he didn't want to see me wasn't even the worst part. The fact that he wouldn't TELL me these things was what got to me. Anyway... rolleyes )
As for the song...how about "I Hate Men" from Kiss Me, Kate, or "Men" (by the Forester Sisters)? twisted Just kidding. Actually, in all seriousness, "When I Fall in Love" would probably be a good choice. There are lots of other neat ones from the same era that you could do too. "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole is a really cool song. So is "The Way You Look Tonight." But that one is actually a male-female duet (originally recorded by Bing Crosby and his then-wife Dixie Lee Crosby), so you would have to find someone else to sing that one with you. Then, of course, there's also "Blue Moon," and "Moon River," and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder"...

I'm talking possessive to the point of crazy. He has had girlfriends who would would start whining/crying/verbally abusing him if he decided to do something with his friends or family instead of with her. It wouldn't matter that he had spent every single day that week with him for most of the hours during the week, she wanted him constantly. She would become jealous and try to pry him away from relationships with his friends and family. She would be at our house, or he would be at her house from the time they got home from school, until after his curfew every single day. His girlfriends have whined and forbidden him to talk to any of his female friends because of jealousy. One even got furious when he went to see a movie with me one day. Seriously, some of his girlfriends were succubi. xp Trust me, this is a completely different thing from the usual wanting to hang out and do something together two or three days each week, and having a date on the weekends. THAT would have been bearable, but his girlfriends wouldn't settle for it. Do you see what I mean now?

This is off topic, but Moriko's account has been hacked. She's trying to get it back. Hopefully, she'll be joining us soon on a mule, and hopefully she'll get her account back soon.

In case you've been wondering about where Green disappeared to, she's getting married in February, so she's busy with a bunch of preparations and stuff. I hope that she comes to visit us sometime, because she's a really cool person.

Also, Mira is back on Gaia, and she said that she will be visiting us soon, but she hasn't been online in a few days.

Okay, I totally see what you mean now. That makes sense. Sorry I misunderstood earlier. But yeah...wanting to spend time together: healthy and perfectly normal. Demanding to be together every second of every day: Ick! They're definitely control freaks. eek And no, I wasn't like that in the least with my ex. I just wanted to be able to see him more than once or twice a month, since we only live about ten minutes apart. Anyway...

I knew what you meant. But, you have to admit that my brother has a tendency to choose insane, clingy girls. xp

Yes, he does. Ay-yi-yi. Doesn't he ever have any contact with normal girls? eek

I don't know. xp I've been really moody today. It seems like everything is getting on my nerves. I need chocolate... -__-

Well, I'm not there in person to give you any chocolate, but would you settle for a virtual hug? *hugs Chibi*

Actually, that time it took me 45 minutes to log off. sweatdrop

Guess what I did? I'm such a brilliant person that I did my homework for Wednesday thinking that was the homework due for tomorrow! So now I have to stay up tonight getting my homework for tomorrow done. xp I think I know how it happened though. Last semester, I had a survey course on Mondays/Wednesdays. This semester, I have another survey class, but it is on Tuesdays/Thursday. Last semester, I had senior seminar in the conference room on Tuesday/Thursdays. This semester, I have creative writing in the conference room on Monday/Wednesdays. Add the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday, and you have a student who can't keep dates and assignments straight.
