Alex looked up and gave a small wave before looking at the computer again. She had given up on the firefighters arriving and watched the house burn to the ground. With a sigh she pressed three keys and time in the game stopped. She input a cheat and had one-million dollars given to her. She was going to need it to rebuild.
Emily followed MacPere and looked at the woman he embraced. She had seen her around before, but had never actually met her.

"His parents?" Stella pulled away slightly so she could look at him. "I can see how that would make you nervous..." She tried her best to lead him toward a seat...this sounded like the start of a rather interesting conversation. The statement about his hospitalization caught her interest along the way.
"You mean...I thought Angeles was responsible! Chris did that?"

"Yes, he did that. Seems to be shirking responsibility as well... But it isn't a matter. I shall merely let him off then get him back later. With interest."
Complying to the movement, MacPere sat on the sofa, legs crossed, facing the businesswoman. "I really wanted that holiday... I could have gone myself, but that would be extremely rude... Agh, I'm going to go mad, I swear it..."

Emily climbed up beside MacPere and sat by him looking up at him, remaining quiet, then looked at the woman before pointing at her, "who's that daddy?"

Stella listened to Eli, putting the matter with Chris aside for the moment. Until she could talk to him personally, taking either's side was a bad idea...though considering one walked away from the conflict while the other remained comatose for two weeks, she leaned a little toward the redhead.
She chuckled lightly, smiling softly at MacPere. "I do hope not...I have enough madmen in my life. If there's some way I can help keep you sane, by all means ask."
At the young girl's question, she glanced to the blond in glasses. Azana had made mention of Emily, her "niece", and she smiled to her.
"My name is Stella...I'm Auntie Azana's cousin."

Erik yawned and slunk out of the shadows as he'd so often done. Hayabusa still was using his room so he wasn't really planning on taking it back by force. Though he'd have to leave the inn soon so he'd enjoy it, he still had work to do in Yamato. Hayabusa slid down the stairs and stepped on his scythe. It flipped upward and landed in his grip. He slung it over his back and crossed his arms. "It's still early?"

Looking down to Emily, MacPere smiled, presenting Stella with the wave of a hand. "This, Emily, is Auntie Stella. She is a good friend of mine and daddy's and is Auntie Azana's cousin. Are you going to say hello~?"
To Stella's teasing question, MacPere rest a hand on her thigh, winking. "Ah, you do enough to keep me sane already... Your presence is calming~"

Stella smiled to Emily despite the shy reception...she had heard about that, too. To MacPere's answer, she shook her head. "Most would disagree with you, there...then again, they're my employees. I supposed I'm a bit intimidating to them..."
She leaned back slightly into her seat, gaze lifted toward the ceiling. "Skuld's been bothering me about coming here more often..."

MacPere's brow wrinkled in question, retracting his hand to rest it on the back of the sofa. "Is that a bad thing, my dear? We aren't bad people... Sorry for that little tumble last time."

"Oh, no, no! Don't get the wrong idea!" She said quickly, looking over to MacPere. "I...I enjoy myself here, a lot. Skuld wants me to take more time off, or at least come here after work or on weekends."
At the apology, she smiled, a faint hint of a blush to her cheeks. "I...didn't mind. I just wished I were better dressed for such a scenario..."

"Time off is a good thing; believe me. I hardly ever took any off myself, busying myself with tasks not needed or done 10 times over. Exhaustion isn't a nice thing to live through."
A smirk found his lips in the face of her blush, hand reaching forward to brush her cheek absently. "I don't know... That loose blouse and tight skirt combination did wonders for me..."

Stella let out a small giggle at the kiss on her forehead, though it turned into a mischievous chuckle as he mentioned her hair and the lengths to which he'd go to bring it down again.
"Be careful, Eli...I might take you up on that," she answered slyly, reaching up and tapping the two sticks. To pull them out on her own or wait for his reaction? Decisions, decisions...
