"3... 2... 1!" As her fingers lingered, MacPere dove, wrapping an arm around her back and taking her to the rug. His actions were gentle yet forceful, causing the sticks to fall from their place and her blond hair to splay over the floor, his body atop hers.
"Never doubt a MacPere~!"
(It would be absolutely perfect timing if Gren walked in right now.)

"Kya~!" Stella cried in surprise as Eli went through on his threat, knocking her back to the floor. The sticks clattered nearby, and she looked up at a victorious MacPere, an amused smile of her own beginning to form as the surprise subsided.
"I'll keep that in mind," she answered, her blue eyes meeting his.

MacPere leaned forward slightly, face holding a soft expression, hand gently tilting her chin to him. "Stella..." He breathed quietly, eyes still locked.

"Y-yes...?" She answered, unable to look anywhere else. This simply wasn't fair...he knew how she felt about him, and yet they danced around one another in a jest that carried grains of truth beneath it. And what scared her was that they were going to have another repeat of what happened before...back when she had no idea...

Stella felt his lips on hers, a fleeting but beautiful sensation, and while part of her reacted with yearning, his apology soured it immediately, reminding her of the reality of the situation.
"D-don't be...it's my fault," she reassured him quickly. "Y-you're...just getting revenge...for last time." She tried to glance away, hide the guilt in her eyes. How selfish could she be? He had a wonderful thing going...engaged, with his fiance's parents on the way...how could she still even think of him like that?

Fenyx knocked on the door. "Am I welcome at the inn now? If not, I'll leave calmly." His hands started glowing with energy, forcing him to comply with his own promise.

"Revenge? Heh, no... I've been wanting to kiss your lips for a while... I'm just a selfish man; wanting more than I can get..." He leaned in for another kiss but shot back to sit on her hips with wide eyes at the door's knocking. With haste, he helped Stella back onto the sofa and left her with a stroke of the cheek, opening the door.
"F-Fenyx..." He panted lightly, adjusting his slightly rumpled clothing. "Angeles isn't here; no-one's stopping you so long as you behave."

Stella winced slightly with the sudden shift of weight, though the knock had surprised her just as much as Eli. She quickly accepted MacPere's aid, though she leaned over to scoop her hairsticks from the floor and place them on the table.
Fenyx...? Where have I...? She wondered to herself, fixing her blouse and cursing the visitor for ruining the moment.

Taking a deep breath and allowing the mage to get on with his business, he returned to the sofa, sitting down beside Stella. "... I'm a selfish, miserly man... I'm sorry. I just guess that this is my curse for being a lover of both genders, hm?"

Stella laughed, her gaze downcast. "And you think I'm not?" She retorted, her smile bittersweet. "You didn't know me before I inherited this burden...back then, I would have had a love potion with your name on it, with a back-up if it didn't work properly."
