Alex chuckled at the bird's actions, still perplexed by his anatomy in being able to move and act and do things normal anthropoids could do. She shook her head, wondering why she was even surprised considering the world she lived in. She was almost done cleaning the floors.

"Want some Auntie Alex?" asked Emily and Alex looked up then stood and took a sip of the child's drink. She reminded the edhead of her younger sister.

Nate returned from the kitchen with another platter piled high and an economy sized bag of chips under his arm. He sat back down at his table and put his feet up, tossing another sandwich into his beak. He happily squawked as the sandwich reached his belly and took another sip of his soda.

Alex looked over from scrubbing the wall, the second one of the four before setting her sponge down and walked over to the door. Her bored expression did not change as she opened the door to let the guy in before moving back to her spot at the wall, "don't know who you are," she said calmly beginning to scrub again, "but I think petty much everyone is welcome here."

Emily giggled as she watched Nate sleep, bent over his form and listening to him snore. One finger was posed above him, just itching to poke him to see what would happen.

Emily giggled quietly then poked the bird on his breast bone and quickly scuttled away and hid behind the couch, peeking out just barely to see what happened.

Fenyx walked in. "Yeah... I think that I've been the first person kicked out in a century, but it wasn't by the inn-keeper, so I can still return." He walked upstairs, and fell promptly asleep.

Nate sat up again, slightly perturbed at having his slumber disturbed. His moodiness was forgotten, however, when his stomach growled. Looking around for an available sandwich and finding none, Nate stumbled his way into the kitchen. Sounds could be heard as he rattled around through the cabinets. Then there was a brief silence followed by a small ding. A moment later, Nate came back out of the kitchen carrying a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and a pitcher of cold milk. Pouring himself a glass, he ate half the cookies and downed the milk in a single go before settling into a quiet corner and returning to sleep, the remaining cookies and milk left unguarded on the table.

Nate slowly opened his eye just enough to spy the girl happily eating the cookies. Pleased, not only for making her happy but for stopping her from interrupting his sleep, he closed his eye and fell asleep, retuning to his happy dreams of dancing sandwiches.
