It's a Pokemon RP! We're still kind of in testing phase. ^^;

[Michiru Tendo]

"Hm? N-no, I'm not blushing! What are you talking about? You must be seeing things, Aeris!" Karen gave her a nervous chuckle as she hopped off the last stair and began to walk quickly to the exit of the Center.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"It's likely I'm far older than you, so I'm not that easily fooled." Aeris said with a sigh, following her with her hands behind her head. "Did your period start or something?"  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen, now blushing even more, continued out the door of the Pokemon Center. "No no no! That's not it!" Karen suddenly stopped and turned around, looking at Aeris curiously. "Wait, you're older than me? But you look younger! Just how old are you?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris, knowing Karen would never believe her anyway, stared her streight in the eyes.

"66 years old."

And then she walked past her out into the late morning city of Rustboro to take in the sights.

Sena and Arcanine ventured into the center looking for Nurse Joy. Arcanine was in need of a well deserved rest, and Sena was looking for a hot chocolate machine. She noticed a growlithe nearby, and allowed Arky to go meet it while still looking for what she needed. Arcanine aproached the growlithe slowly, as not to alarm it. He always liked making friends with other pokemon like himself, so he hoped the growlithe was friendly.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen's eyes widened as she stood there for a moment, looking shocked. She then turned around to rush after Aeris and tug on her sleeve repeatedly with an excited smile. "Wow, Aeris, you're so old but you look so great! You look like you can't be a day over 16! Tell me your secret! Oh wait, since you're that much older than me, am I supposed to treat you like an elder? But you look like you're around my age still... this is really confusing."  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"...I...I...I'm not..." Time for some speedy lying. "I was joking!" It felt like a stab to the heart to lie to such an innocent girl, but Aeris remembered Han's advice from but a few moments ago. Don't tell any secrets...  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Oh... were you really? Of course you were, how silly of me! Of course you're not that old, you still look so young! How old are you really, anyways? Maybe you really are a bit older than me and I just can't tell." Karen let out her signature giggle and gave Aeris a gentle smile.  

[Semu Namu]

As arcanine wandered off, Sena overheard the weirdest thing coming out of a dark haired girl. "You're 66 years old!?" She asked the girl wide-eyed. Maybe she was delusional and really needed rest, but she swore that was what she heard.  

[SephiLyn]

Tiger noticed the Arcanine coming up to him. It was much bigger than he was. Tiger wagged his but stayed seated, it wouldn't end well if he offended a pokemon much bigger than himself. He couldn't help thinking about how cool it looked, how it's movements were much more graceful than his own. Someday, he hoped to be an Arcanine. Maybe Lyn would see it too and she'd want an Arcanine too. Well, not now. Tiger still needed time to grow. What if Lyn saw the Arcanine and decided to evolve right now? He wasn't ready for that! Evolution took commitment. Tiger hoped that Lyn would turn away and not see the Arcanine.

Fortunately, for Tiger, Lyn was still looking for Nurse Joy and she hadn't noticed the new people and pokemon entering. She did see Karen though. "KAREN!!!!" Lyn cried as she ran toward her.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris blinked at the newcomer, looking between her and Karen with an air of confusion.

Told you not to tell any secrets, even in jest. Didn't I?

Oh shut up, Han.

"I...was...joking?" She said, trying to cover up for herself with a nervous laugh, similar to the way Karen laughed when she was trying to brush something off.  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn skipped through the Pokemon Center, opened the door and pounced on Karen. "Hellooooo!!!!" Lyn smiled broadly.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen hadn't noticed Lyn before she yelled her name, and by that time it was too late to steady herself for the pouncing Lyn. She lost her balance and was tackled to the ground by her good friend. Karen giggled happily and hugged Lyn tight. "Hey, Lyn! Did you go on your berry picking adventure? How was it? Find any good berries? Did you run into any wild Pokemon while you were out?" She returned Lyn's smile with one of her own as she pelted her with questions.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris was frightened by all the people suddenly appearing and creating all sorts of racket. Screaming, yelling...hugging.. Aeris flinched at the interactions between Karen and Lyn, and tried to avoid the curious stare of the woman who had addressed her.

This new Lyn person especially scared her with her exuberance.

It wasn't long before Aeris had exited the pokemon center in a hurry and circled behind it to hide behind the bushes until Karen was alone, and she could talk to her again.  

[Semu Namu]

Sena followed the strange girl outside, she didn't mean to scare her. She knew she must have been joking, nobody was that young looking and that old. She whistled to arcanine, and he immediately followed, while looking dissapointed that he didn't get to meet the growlithe. They followed the girl outside and Sena called to her "Miss! I was only kidding! I thought you were being sarcastic to that other girl, I was going to scold you for being rude." Sena's professorisms kicked in, gah. Hanging around children all the time made her a bit jumpy and prone to correct people.
