"Echo & the Bunnymen"? lolwut? XDDD
There's no shame in trash digging though. I've found a whole bunch of cool stuff in people's trash before. It's how some of us poorer people find new furniture. rofl
80s rock band, very awesome. Some neighbors in the apartment building where I used to lvie threw out a huge bag of CDs and we took it. Most of the stuff was bad so we put it back outside for the trash people, but we took a few things. Among them were three (I think) EBM CDs. Trash ftw.

Ah, I've never heard of them before. But that's why you always gotta be on the look out for things. I found this nifty changing screen yesterday. One of the panels was broken and the fabric was cut up and in really bad condition. But I'm going to take off the damaged panel and find some use for the remaining two panels. whee /Offtopic
Anyways, I was thinking of doing a list of all the manga series I've ever read...just because I want to see a big list and marvel at how much hours I spent reading manga. XD
I've been meaning to make a list like that on MML but I can't remember a lot of the stuff I've read x_o; Plus I don't know whether I should count things that I've only read one chapter (or less) of.

"MML"?
Well since I've never read less than one chapter of anything it wouldn't be too hard for me to remember. (Except some series in Asuka, but that doesn't really count as reading. It's more like "skimming".) In fact, I think I'll start making it and post it in this thread, just because I don't have anything better to do. D:

Google mymangalist or myanimelist. MML is a subsection of MAL, it allows you to make an interactive-ish list of manga you've read. I don't particularly like it since I'd rather make a list of books I have since those are what I really count, I could care less about the series I've read but didn't like enough to buy. Sites like MML seem to be geared more towards people who download manga rather than buy it and like to show off how much they've read rather than their actual collections.
I'm working on a manga collection-centric site currently ;D If nothing else, it'll at least give me and my friends a clean way to display our collection lists

Ah, I see. For me, writing down what I've read sends me back down memory lane. Like "Oh I remember when I was reading that!" and also because I like writing long alphabetized lists. 8D
I've always thought of making a review site or something. Even though I can't really put my thoughts together well enough for people to understand what I'm talking about. xD

I love making lists, but my memory span is very low so I don't actually remember most of what I've read D: I've read a lot but I only remember the things I read recently.
I thought about making a review site at one point that self-moderated to prevent popularity from affecting rankings, but I never got around to writing it. I'd like to revisit the idea with a more effective self-moderation algorithm in the future, once I'm better at that sort of thing. The website I'm working on now is much simpler and isn't meant to facilitate the discovery of new manga to read - it's simply a way to organize and share lists of your manga with book-precision. I'm waiting on my friend to give me some data to work with though e_e; She's distracted by the Easter event.

My memory isn't the best either to tell you the truth. But I can remember a lot of things because I associate them with something/someone else. Because every memory and event is connected in some way. Like for example: I can take a series like, say, DNAngel, think about what else I was reading around the same time and just go from there. It's a good brain work-out too~ XD
Kinda like how this guild is? A site with different people posting their collections for other people to comment on?

I don't even have that. My memory just sorta doesn't hold on to anything it doesn't need D:
And sort of, except there is no built-in commenting feature (although it is something I could add). It's sort of like the list component of MML (ie, without the review stuff). You'd basically post a link and the discussion goes on elsewhere. I'm trying to make the site as simple and minimal as possible. It isn't a manga database or a community, it is a way to keep a detailed and accurate list of manga books you own, nothing more :3

Oh I see now. I'd like to see what it looks like when your done. =D
Ugh, late night = Brain not working right. X_x;;;

Sure. I need to get more data to work with to make sure that the back end works as intended, and then I can start on the user interface (new user registration and the interface for actually adding books to your collection).
My brain is dead too. It's late and I'm working on a project = deeeeaaaad.

I was reading my Asuka earlier... I think I'll buy Barajou no Kiss when it comes out, I rather like it o: But I'm ordering today and the first vol comes out on the 25th >>; So I won't get it until July.
