"Don't tempt me!" Tyler called after after MacPere before waving to Azana and Sosol. "I don't suppose you can take over here...pep talks aren't my forte."
Azana quirked an eyebrow, looking at the kitchen door. "What's got him riled up now?" She asked giving a sigh as she began to follow, eager to see him again anyway.
Sosol offered a wave to Tyler and gestured to the luggage as he made his way for the stairs. There would be plenty of time to catch up and make their announcement...

Azana walked into the kitchen, tilting her head at the rather amusing scene of Eli trying to wrangle his own tail. "What the heck are you doing?" She asked, both amused and concerned...he never seemed to have troubles with it before...
Tyler folded up the plans, throwing his bag over his shoulder and making his way for the door. While everyone was busy...this was the perfect time to go pick up some of the things he needed.

"I'm trying--!" He grumbled as it wriggled out of the slot, a loop sticking out which he promptly attempted to stuff. "I'm trying to conceal my tail... It's for the best."

"Conceal it?" Azana took a step toward him. "Why would you--o~h..." The answer hit her like a ton of bricks; Gren was picking up his parents.
"It's not for the best...they should be able to accept you as you are, tail and all. And if all else fails, I can do my lightbulb trick and make you look normal by comparison." She chuckled, allowing a couple sparks to jump across her fingers.

"I know but... I don't wish to mess this up for him. He hasn't seen his parents in a long time and it wouldn't be the best to say 'Surprise! I'm marrying a monster!'" He sighed, releasing the tail and allowing it to unravel itself and hang limply. "... I'm scared."

Azana's amusement faded to sympathy, and she pulled the man into a hug. "Eli...I don't know what your obsession is with that, but you're no monster. I've seen enough to know." She pulled away, holding his shoulders lightly and looking into his eyes.
"I know, meeting them is scary. I can't imagine if I had to meet Sol's parents...but I wouldn't lie to them. I wouldn't hold back. It's obvious you two are head over heels for each other, and any self-respecting parent would see that and understand." She smiled, even though in the back of her mind, she knew she would have to take her own advice. After all, Sol's parents were still alive; Stella had their contact information.

Azana's arms found their way around him again as she let out a small sigh. She had missed Eli during the vacation, though she wished this was under better circumstances.
"We'll all vouch for you, you know. Glowing reviews and everything..."

He breathed a laugh and gave a squeeze, shaking his head. "I wouldn't coax you into lying for me..."
(Gotta get to bed... If Azana and Sosol eloped, by the way, the first thing that shall be grabbed is a butcher's knife.)

Chris walked into the Inn and waved a greeting to all present before taking a seat at his usual table and pulling out his harmonica. It had been agreeably quiet as of late and he was determined to make the most of his downtime. When one is in the business of saving the world, peace and quiet are rare luxuries to be savored.
"Hey, guys. What's new?"

Alex jumped down from the roof once the last shingle was layed. She left the Mona Lisa replica of shingles in the grass for anyone to appreciate, she would pick them up tomorrow. Instead she walked inside and wiped a hand across her brow. She walked to the wash room and moved her clothes to the dryer before going upstairs for a quick cold shower.

Tyler walked into the Inn with a yawn, his bag almost overflowing with pieces and components. Even though he was tired from the night before, he had a smile on his face. It was a complete success, and within the next couple of days, it would be ready for testing.
