Alex looked up and saw the irony in the situation. The two work-a-holics were talking. Amazing. She sat back into a normal sitting position and sighed through her nose, "I'm alright," she said calmly, "I'm alright, it's..." she glanced over at the table, "done with your teleporter?"

Tyler looked back over his shoulder. "Not even close, but I spent all last night picking up all the parts. I'm not sure pulling two in a row would be a good idea." He grabbed the chair across from her, inviting himself to sit.
"Besides, I really don't have much inspiration at the moment...not much to think about. How about you? I know you write and all...but you've been at it nonstop since you walked in. What's on your mind?"

Zulma beamed and clapped her hands in happiness.
She rose from her seat, not noticing the milk mustache she had.
She walked to the couple and grabbed their hands.
"I am sooo happy for you both. The Inn is yours on the date you want!" she smiled and then tilted her head.
"The only thing is to discuss it with Gren and MacPere so that the two weddings don't bump into each other." she chuckled but her eyes were filled with happiness for both of them.
"This is a very special moment and I am so glad you want to share it with the guests of the Inn." she said gently.
((I got married last year IRL twice! So I am the best wedding planner ever!!! biggrin ))

A paper popped into her head with written words on it in Natalie's handwriting, "my editor's bugging me to finish my sequel, I'm not even one-hundred pages into it and she's not understanding that this is supposed to be a vacation," she shrugged and opened her windows.
She tapped her finger against the mouse before closing the laptop. She was having a conversation. She rested her chin in the palm of her hand, "every time I say something funny people take it seriously," she said flatly, "how do I fix that?"
Emily put the stones back, "we're all having tea!" she said happily and sat down patting the carpet beside her and took out her unused stones, "pick yours grandpa."

"If you don't mind a little brutal honesty, I'd work on vocal inflection," Tyler answered, watching the young woman. "Your voice is very flat, and it makes everything sound either serious or sarcastic, even if you don't mean it to be. You use humor in your writing, right? Try to speak like a character of yours, see how it works out."
Azana blushed slightly, a little embarrassed by Zulma's joy. Had she missed the whole memo about the engagement, or was she really just this excited about a wedding?
Sosol nodded. "Thank you, Zulma...I couldn't see us doing this anywhere else."

"You've done worse in less time...besides, I can arrange a lot too, you know?" he grinned.
Matilda appeared from the kitchen, a bubbling cauldron of thick soup in hand. "Dinner tonight is clam chowder!" she smiled, setting the pot onto a heating pad on a table.

"Hah, amen to that..." He murmured, pressing their lips together once more through joy. "Oh, I can't wait to call you my husband..."
Unwrapping himself from his fiance, MacPere strolled to the bar, lulled by the scent of food. "Ooh... I'm looking forward to the food of Mrs. Eckener indeed..."
(And as it dawns upon 3am, I have to get to bed. *flops down* Goodnight all~ heart )

Zulma smiled at the young couple.
Then turned as MacPere and Gren announced their day.
She chuckled.
"This is going to be a very busy summer!"
She trotted towards Baldur and nuzzled his neck.
"Do panther marry?" she asked, although she understood that it might be misunderstood by the panther. "I am not asking, I am just wondering..." she flushed not noticing a new figure coming out of the kitchen with food.

Alex blinked and her brow furrowed slightly, "voice inflection," she thought about it for a moment before she shook her head slowly, "I don't think that would work...," she tried to think of a character that she could associate with and sighed, her expression returning to 'normal' as she shook her head again, "that's sad," she said flatly
