MacPere waved back to Max with a charming "Good day~" before focusing on Sosol, with alleged good news. "Good news for me? My, that's a first... Please, do go ahead."

"Well, Zulma stopped by last night, and I was able to get that paperwork you were looking for. She thinks it's a great idea and is grateful for the help." It took a bit of effort, but the box slid out from its hiding place, making it's way to Sosol's waiting arms. "Until you can find a hobby to occupy your time, this might be just what the doctor ordered."
Max chuckled, standing with her plate and taking it back to the kitchen. Once she had cleaned up after herself, she'd find something to do with the day...there were no pending requests for her skills, though she did have a couple new numbers to add to her contacts...

"Oh, you are a star, Sosol... Thank you so much." He gave an appreciative smile, sliding his parcel to one side in order to make room for the financial box. "However I think that Gren has teetered me toward learning to tap dance. It's something I've always wanted to do, but... Aren't I a little old for such?"

Chris caught sight of MacPere and decided to make himself scarce. "Nate, ol' boy, I need some nonspecific help in that place with the thing." The pair walked out, passing Jake as he entered.
"What's up, people?" the archer said as he took a seat at the Knights' usual table. He put his feet up and began playing a handheld game.

Alex looked up and waved to the man who came in and greeted everyone. She then realized that she did not recognize him. Immediately she began to study him through half-lidded eyes as she finished off one waffle of the stack of them that Nate had left for her.

"I don't think so," Sosol answered. "I mean, weren't you sparring with Az just a month or so ago?" And don't forget your dancing just a few nights prior... He gave an encouraging smile, patting Eli's shoulder. "I think it's a great idea."
Tyler quirked an eyebrow at Chris' sudden departure before looking toward Sosol and MacPere. Are they still...? Sheesh... He shook his head, getting back to his work.
Max bopped out of the kitchen, frowning at the lack of Nate or Chris, though she recognized a familiar face further away. "Jake!" She greeted happily, walking over to him. "Wacha playin'?"
Azana strolled downstairs, tugging at her hand wrap as she reached the main room. "Wow...busy today. Hey, everyone."

"Well, thank you, dear~" As he set to tear into the papers of income and expenditure, MacPere gave a tut to Chris' departure. "If the man would give me a chance to so much as say something, I could understand. Running from issues, whom's wedding you are attending, solves nought..."

Sosol smiled sheepishly. "Well...to be honest, I'd avoid you for a little while, too, if there was a threat of serious injury."
"I can drag him back in here," Tyler offered, holding up his refurbished old teleporter.
"Ty, let them sort it out!" Max scolded before returning her attention to Jake and his game.
Azana shook her head at the whole situation, pulling off her engagement ring and dropping it down her shirt. "I'm heading out to the dojo...be back in a couple hours."

"Don't wreck the place too badly, Azana~" He purred in goodbye, offering a wave.
"Indeed... Allow him to see that if I wished to shoot him, I would have through the many opportunities presented."

"Are you and Chris still sore at each other, Mr. MacPere? I thought it was all settled." He shrugged and focused on his game. It felt good to get off monitor duty and he had every intention of relaxing. "Anyway, what's all this about a wedding?'

Azana chuckled, waving in return before pulling the door open and heading out for some long-needed exercise. After all, things had been too busy to let loose, and she had a dress to look amazing in.
"OMG, you don't know?!" Max blinked, tempted to yank the game away to make sure he got the memo this time. "Gren and MacPere are gettin' married on Sunday! And, bonus time! Az and Sol are next month!" She laughed joyfully. "Oh, one a those bouquets will be mine!"
Sosol chuckled at Max. "It's all true...and we'll see what we can do about convincing Chris that he can remain in the same room."
"Try just telling him," Tyler muttered, rolling his eyes at the obvious as he concentrated on a rather delicate connection. The soldering had to be very precise or it would risk a short-circuit...bad idea when one was in between places.

Gren laughed, leaning against the banister. "Sorry, but I've already been told where to throw mine, Max."

"It would be settled if one wasn't immature and avoided me at every turn. I'll just give him an invitation. But, I shan't open it without Gren's presence. It feels unfair, somewhat."
To the voice, he smiled and turned around, head in one hand. "Your timing is the most amazing thing I have ever come to witness."

"Let me talk to him. The guy's been my best friend since the sandbox. If anybody can convince him, It's good ol' Jake Stewart." He put the game in his pocket and went out the door, poking his head back in long enough to say "Oh, by the way, congratulations on the weddings. Good luck catching that bouquet, miss."
((Gotta go for a bit. Be back later.))
