Kageko, by now, had managed to get the gist of things. Although, she was still clueless as to why Fenyx was on the couch unconscious.

Azana folded her arms, wanting to hear this herself. What else did Eli have up his sleeve...?
Sosol turned his attention to Kageko, seeing her slight confusion at Fenyx's condition. "I think someone sniped him somewhere outside," he explained, though he wasn't entirely sure himself. Only Gren could answer that question.

Fenyx woke up, groaning in pain. He grabbed his fans and performed the complete version off his healing spell. "Sorry! My enemies are a bit more... ah... forceful... than most. Though, I really think the magic canceling bullets were a nice touch. Expensive, yes. But very effective. Of course, they would need something like that to even have a chance at killing me. Anyway, thank you, Gren."

MacPere unwrapped his arms and asked her to spin around, promptly getting to his knees as she did so. "Please, please, please may I have a job? I could be an accountant or something - I don't mind starting from the bottom. I just need something occupy my mind... It's hard for workaholics to retire!"

Kageko nodded at Sosol's explanation then joked slightly, "Great. We just seem to finish up with one mess and then land in another," just as Knight burst into the inn. "I can deliver the slap," the girl offered.

Stella gave a small twirl as requested, taken aback by what she found when she returned to her starting spot.
Max swiped James' camera, quickly snapping the scene. Now there's a winner! She thought with a mischievous smirk.
The chairwoman of the GMO looked down at MacPere, her eyes narrowing as a smirk crossed her face. "I'm tough to work for...just ask around. If you think you can handle me...welcome to the GMO." She held down a hand to him. "Now stand up...you look ridiculous down there."
Sosol sent a bottle of Chris' favorite his way. "You might have to take Kageko up on that one..."
((And with that, I must go eat half-price pizza with the boy!))

"Alrighty then," Kageko nodded although she made no movements. Then a black whirlpool seemed to appear out of thin air besides the target with Yin rocketing straight out of it, slamming into Chris's cheek. Yang wasn't far behind, giving the man another smack if he hadn't been moved by the second one. The girl quickly explained, "I'm not that strong, but Yang did say he wanted to make a dramatic entrance."
Yang immediately replied with a happy, "Yep!".
{And why did I need to go first?} Yin silently growled.

Chris staggered a bit, but managed to remain upright. "Thanks," he said to the trio. "I needed that." He returned to his bottle as he took a seat at his usual table.

Kageko calmed her teammate down before asking, "So why did you need to get slapped? Anything wrong?".

Remy shrugged with a laugh at James' apology. "That's okay...we can try taking some later."
