"Ah, I see...then, want some advice?" he smiled, strolling over.

"By all means," Chris replied, pouring a drink for the musician. "I could use a fresh perspective on the subject."

Taking a seat, Gren smiled. "Thanks...Well, for starters, what's holding you back?"

"We both lead dangerous lives. It's already hard for me to watch her risk her life day in and day out. Imagine how much that feeling would be multiplied if we were married. Or, worse, if we had children. It's a lot to think about."

Kageko remained quiet, this was definitely not something she could help with. To her, it seemed like practically everyone at the inn suddenly decided to get married. The next thing she knew, Zulma and Baldur would decide to get married as well.
(OOC: Crazy idea! Who thinks that we should have a time skip to see how the kids look like xd ?)

Gren nodded. "True as that is, you two are already close enough...marriage wouldn't change that. In fact, if anything happened, you'd always wonder about what could have been."
(Sorry for the delay; dinner...and Kageko, I'd still be nice and childless. XD )

A crooked smile, followed by a sip of his drink. "Thanks...and you're welcome."

"So how should I do this? What's the best way to take the proverbial plunge and tell the woman I love that I want to marry her?"

Gren shrugged. "How should I know? You know more than anyone else what makes her happy...doe she like big fancy affairs? Will she get mad at witnesses? Considering your lifestyles, I'd think a normal date, the kind you don't always get...some nice restaurant, dinner, dancing...Things you both like."

Fenyx said, "Well, I'm off to find the sniper. The only reason I won't go to the Plains anymore is because I'm pretty sure that a swarm of Sudowoodo will attack me on sight." He summoned a sketchbook, some ink, and a quill. "Okay, so... how to fight a magic cancelling opponent. Hmm..." He drew a bunch of ermines. "Okay. I don't think repeatedly summoning this will work for very long, but it is an excellent distraction, and will work as long as I can charge up ki accordingly." He then left the inn once more.

"Well, I suppose I should start by picking out a ring, shouldn't I?"

Gren wondered why, if his opponent disabled magic, didn't simply use physical attacks.
"Picking a ring is a good idea, as well as deciding how...Also, diamonds are traditional, but sometimes preferred stones are better...also, get her a practical ring, in terms of cut and size. Too large, it'll get in the way."

Fenyx walked back in. "Okay, he is tied up exactly 75 feet away, his sniper rifle has been turned to petals, and a bunch of ermines are guarding him. Yay! Obviously, I couldn't use a physical attack if I couldn't reach him, so I chose the least obvious thing possible, acting like a commander of a miniature army! Of ermines!!! Yay ermines!"
