"Nervous? Busy?" Kageko asked as she ignored Fenyx's reappearance into the inn, "With what? Is there something that I missed?".

"Well, besides the wedding, I have my exams in September...they're going to be especially tough this year," Azana explained, happily gulping down the ice water.
"She thinks they will be," Sosol corrected her. "We don't know what they are until we take them, and they come up with new tests every few years to make sure they remain accurate."
Tyler simply watched the concert. He knew that whatever Sword Test they gave him wouldn't be difficult, but he could understand Azana's nerves. Now that her cousin was in command and had a better idea of the operative's capabilities...it was possible to fashion tougher exams than previously.

"Oh calm down Azana," Kageko assured with a smile, "I'm not sure about the wedding, but you should be able to ace the test. You've been through tons of different situations. Even if they randomly decided to give you an extra tough exam, you'd probably still be able to finish it easily. Besides, neither Sosol nor Tyler seem to be worrying over it too much."

"Actually, Kageko...I'm not due until next year, considering my designation change," Sosol said somewhat sheepishly.
"I'm the smartest they've got. I'd be authentically surprised if they wrote a test I couldn't ace." Tyler chuckled, looking up at the Knights' performance again. They certainly had a future as rock stars once their nemesis was permanently dispatched...
"Thanks...that seems to be the general consensus," Azana said with a smile, finishing off the glass only to have a pitcher stop by to refill it. "I almost wish I could have you guys cheering me on..."

"Trust me, you don't" Kageko replied, "It'll only distract you." She had personal experience from Yang cheering her on whenever he and Yin finished an errand before her. It eventually became slightly annoying despite all the time that she had spent with him. "Is there anything I can do to help you prepare?" the girl asked after a pause.

Another song finished and the crowd was enjoying the show. Chris stepped up to the mic and began to address those gathered. "I want to take a moment here, in the presence of all our friends, to make an announcement. A few nights ago, I was at dinner with the love of my life, Miss Crystal Wade." Crystal blushed slightly as she waved to the crowd. "I asked her to marry me and she said yes."

The GMO contingent (plus one!) in the Inn were distracted from their own discussion by Chris' announcement and erupted into more applause despite their clapping for the performance.

Kageko had been about to ask Remy what he had painted this time around when the song finished and Chris made an announcement. the girl thought quietly to herself for a moment as she tried to register what had happened and then pick out the best action. In the next moment, she was acting the same as Azana and Sosol, with the addition of a very loud whistle. "Congrats!" the girl shouted after her piercing whistle had ended.

Crystal stepped up to the mic next to Chris and began to sing as a slideshow flickered to life on the wall behind them.

As Chris began the next song, Kageko quietly exited the inn. She had been on break for long enough. Besides, Yang's constant pestering about their next errand was starting to get slightly on her nerves. Good grief, could that little guy nag.
