Feeling better for the playing, Gren sighed, cleaning the spit valve. It cleared a lot of the remaining problems...after all, they'd never let him play in the ranks. He smiled gently.

With a sigh, MacPere slid into bed, thinking of wrapping his arms around the man but deciding against it. He hadn't played with his saxophone in a while and it seemed best to leave him to it.

Noticing that the shower had ended, he followed the damp trail of footsteps and knocked on the bedroom door frame. "Hey..." he smiled crookedly. "Care for a real cuddle before you zonk out?"

Fenyx thought for an hour on how to explain. "Um... Well, it actually has something to do with a stable time loop, that I broke by choosing darkness instead of light. In either timeline, she's my sister, but, if I chose light, then she would be dead by now, Raia would power the time crystal needed to travel back, and I would have no memories or knowledge of the Inn or my life, and I would be traveling back in time to save her, and losing my memories, again." Shalmii jumped up in the air. "But, everyone's okay now! At least, everyone I see is okay!"

Remy nodded, face set. "That makes absolutely no sense to me, but I'm glad it's all cleared up."
Gren smiled, changing into a robe, clambering into bed and snuggling into his husband's arms. "You've done more than you know tonight..." he smiled, honest.

Angeles and D moved downstairs fully armed, both eyes were red. Angeles looked around then moved to a spot on the floor and bent down to inhale the scent. A problem with 'a' Dracula had stolen both of the hunters away from the inn during the time of the shooting, but a quick story from Emily was all Angeles needed to send her blood boiling.
D stood in the center of the room and scanned it casually, otherwise ignoring the other people in the room. Angeles stood from the spot and sighed heavily and walked to her spot, then back to the spot where the blood had been, beginning to pace back and forth as if trying to reach a decision, glancing at Max every now and then.
"What will you do?" asked D calmly, "who will you speak to first?" Angeles stopped between the two spots and her hands tightened into fists, "Remy first, Gren has MacPere to console him. Emily's taken care of for now but...," she paused and her eyes faded back to green, "we need to find who did this, that child, Gren, the people here, they've had enough tragedy in their pasts to last a lifetime."
"You think, that if your plan had succeeded, this wouldn't have happened."
Angeles eyes looked to D's which were once more black, in them was the somber sorrow of her failure.

Sosol tilted his head at the vampire pair, a little startled to see them both armed to the teeth (which were intimidating enough on their own). "Why do I get the feeling that I missed something rather important?"
Max yawned, having stayed up all night either downstairs socializing or upstairs building. "Eh, whatever it is, I'm probably not involved...and I've got some accessories to pick up for the resident artist. Later, y'all!" She called, grabbing the glider she had picked up from the hero team on her way out.
No better way to travel...!

Angeles looked up at Sosol but kept quiet as Max tumbled down the stairs and out the door. Angeles looked after her for a moment before inhaling to call after her, but then exhaled, "I'm too old," she said quietly.
"I'm ten-thousand two-hundred twelve years old," responded D flatly and Angeles looked over to him.
"I didn't mean for you."
"Guard your heart," was D's only reply as Angeles again looked up at Sosol.
"We all missed something, but if the one who was wronged wishes to speak up about it, then they will speak up about it. As for more vampiric matters," D's eyes glowed red again, "there is a Dracula wandering around nearby. We're not sure who's Dracula it is, so far he's made no move against us."

"Well, I'm glad you two are here, then," he answered with a friendly grin, though he was worried somewhat about the answer, both of them. He wasn't sure what Angeles was rambling on about, but it was just nice to have her rambling again. "It certainly explains the equipment...I suppose I should stick around a bit more often, at least until it passes."

Last night had been particularly stressful. MacPere trudged down the stairs, still in his pajamas, a raised hand running through his toussled hair in an attempt to straighten it.
"Hey..." He greeted in a hoarse voice, shuffling to the bar.
