Matilda shook her head. "You're not the worst because you weren't doing it to him."
"But...if I did all of that asleep...that settles it, I'm sleeping on the couch."
Matilda couldn't help but smile slightly. "That will solve it?"
"At least he won't get hurt!"
Matilda sighed. "But he might think you don't care for him. Promise me you'll be careful about this, Grencia."
Gren frowned. "Do you think I'm not trying? Ugh...yes, all right...maybe I'll just stay down here, or stay awake all night or something."

MacPere stepped back downstairs, dressed. He strolled forward and stood before his lover with his arms folded, unappreciative, yet not-so-serious, tuts emitting from his lips.

Jumping enough to rattle his teacup against the plate, he smiled for a split second before remembering the situation and glancing away. "I, I'm sorry...I'm so sorry. I didn't know, about...that. D-do I do that often?"

Accepting the hug weakly, he closed his eyes and tried to stay calm. "I'm sorry. I can't apologize enough...you don't deserve that kind of treatment."

"I knew I shouldn't have brought it up... I'm fine, remember? You know what I've been trough and what I can go through... Why are you so worried? Here," He took up Gren's hand, lining their ring fingers up.
"Do you see these rings? These are a symbol to show that I will go through anything and everything to stop you from having dreams, panics and fears anything like yesterday. After a few minutes of holding you still and singing, you stopped and smiled, Gren. You smiled in the face of your terrors. If that is the very least I can do for you, then I am happy."

Gren stared for a moment, them smiled warmly, loving. "Just what kinda guy do you think I am? I'd at least make it a quick procedure...I love you far too much for that." He petted MacPere's cheek gently, eyes narrowed with relieved affection.
