"Indeed..." MacPere stepped lightly, nuzzling his face into the scarf and shoving his hands into a pocket each.
The gentle light shining through the canopy's leaves and illuminating spots upon the ground did indeed make for a nice path.

Gren adjusted his yellow scarf against the cross-breezes and sighed, a plume of steam from his breath trailing off behind him. Not too cool, not too warm, but just a lovely shade of brisk. He'd always liked this sort of weather, and having someone to share it with made it all the better.
The leaves rustled crisply as they walked, and shuddered in their wake. He began humming in a sort of detached manner.
(May take me a little longer to reply after this, just for a bit.)

MacPere smiled to himself, noting the saxophonist's humming. Inner cogs working, he glanced over. Gren's hands remained by his sides.
If he's away with the fairies, perhaps he won't notice...
Slowly, carefully, and almost slyly, MacPere reached out his own ungloved hand and slipped it into Gren's, lacing their fingers together neatly.
He could have sworn he felt himself blush slightly, if even for a moment, but none could have noticed anyway. The striped scarf had buried all features below his cheekbones.

Gren closed his fingers a bit more firmly upon the realization that there was a warm hand in his. He blushed mildly himself. 'Never misses a chance...'he thought to himself.

"... The weather is quite enjoyable today~" MacPere spoke simply after submerging his chin from the scarf's confines. "I'm not much for extreme heat... Well, the weather kind of heat anyway~"
He internally winced. Dear Lord, he wasn't wooing some harlot in a bar. That part could have been left out.

Gren chuckled, despite himself. He hadn't heard a line like that in quite a while. Still, it had its charm, and the delivery was good enough to merit a laugh. "Is that so? Summers must be rough, huh?"

Gren gave MacPere a sideways glance. "What for? You didn't mean any harm by it, did you?"

He looked down the path and spotted a lake in the distance, turning back to Gren. "What is it like living on a moon, anyhow?"

"O-oh, do I?" Gren muttered sheepishly. Hormones being out of line was something he knew all too well, but he understood what was meant. Really quite flattering...
"It's...lonely, in that city. I'm only there because I needed somewhere to run after escaping prison, and a slummy city like Blue Crow is what I found. Nobody has money, it's always frozen...about the only trade we've got is alcohol, and even that's not enough." Gren paused, considering. "But I guess...that it's kind of magical. I mean, have you ever been off of this planet? In space?"

"You would take me..." MacPere looked to the sky between the autumn leaves. "Up there?" He stopped walking and looked to the ground, breaking their hand-grasp.
"Gren..." He smiled softly and wrapped his arms around the musician's neck, pressing their lips together for a few brief seconds. "I don't deserve that~"
