"I guess you're right on that one...still, it's fun, and there's even USB controllers you can get now!" Max beamed, finding a file for Mario Kart and downloading it.
"I'll assume that last part was directed at Azana," Tyler said with a smirk, walking over and looking at the picture. "Do you have anything besides this?"
Azana blinked at Eli's determination, beaming at the idea. "I'll start writing the letter tomorrow morning..." She said, looking down at the picture before pulling out one of her old report cards which was, of course, signed by the teacher. "This should help...I always called her Miss K, but if you can decode that signature of hers, you'll have a full name."
"I like this idea..." Sosol said, sliding out from behind the bar. "I know the picture is really old, but maybe I can pick something up from it."
Tyler picked up the report card, leaving the picture to Sosol for the time being. "Looks like I finally found something to keep me busy...this is gonna be one hell of a mission. James and Max will probably want a piece of this, too."
"Get whoever you need. We have one week to find my old teacher and bring her here."

"Oh ho ho, trying to back out, are we?" Azana said with a smirk. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Eli." Her smirk faded with Gren's question, one that she hadn't really thought of until that point. What if she had forgotten...? All of this would be for nothing...
"A day like that doesn't fade easily from memory...I bet the entire class remembers it vividly," Sosol said, a grin to Azana. "And who could forget her?"
"I'm going, I'm going," Tyler said, rolling his eyes as he climbed the stairs with report card in hand. His plan was to stop by Max's room, but he heard her voice closer...
"Definitely! I've got a couple at home for when friends come over...this is where having more than one monitor can be awesome!" Max said with a smile. "Wish I brought 'em with me..."

(Dude and dudette, this thunderstorm just knocked over a huge tree in my yard. It's pretty cool.)
Gren nodded. "Who could? She must've liked you plenty. Don't worry, Az. We'll find her."

"...not really, unfortunately...unless you're looking to perform a seance or two," Azana answered, picking up the charm from the box and looking it over with a nostalgic smile. "I've already got an impressive guest list, anyway..."
Sosol picked up the photo, walking away from the group for some peace and quiet. Trying to get something off such an old picture was going to be hard...especially considering how closely Azana had held to it. He was more likely to pick up her past than anything about the teacher. Still, he had to try.
"I just hope my landlord hasn't started throwing out my things...the whole door thing probably broke lease or something..." Max folded her arms, thinking about it with a glare toward the floor. "Even if it didn't...I had a couple complaints under my belt..."
Tyler hesitated to knock on the door, hearing her complaint on the other side. This would be horrible timing...I'll talk to her tomorrow. He retreated back toward his room, knowing it was going to be one of those long nights.

Remy nodded, then glanced to the door, poking his head out into the hall. "Need something, Tyler?"

"I'm afraid that I possess no such powers... If so, I would have held one of my own some time ago..." He voice tapered off to the end, a despondent look crossing his face before a quick shake of the head and setting himself back on track.

"Eli..." Azana muttered quietly, remembering that Gren wasn't his first spouse. "Anyway! Um, let's see...oh, I even have my birth certificate in here...thought I lost it."
Tyler froze in his tracks, turning back toward Remy. "I've got a task Max might like to sink her teeth into, but she's obviously busy. It can wait until morning."
Max blinked as Remy went to the door. His heightened senses at night were still taking some getting used to, but as she heard him say Tyler's name, she officially became interested. "He spyin' on us or somethin'?" She asked, standing and walking toward him.
