Remy smiled. "Wow You guys really make well for yourselves! All I'm good at is painting, ha...wish I could still eat; I'd happily be a tiebreaker!"
He stopped at the dirty look from the girl, pouting. "What's your problem?"

"Oh for the love of... Stop with the shouting!" MacPere roared as he arose from his nap, scowling at the newly-entered girl. "Where on Earth is the need to start shouting?! Can you not see that there are people here trying to sleep?!"

Gren jumped slightly, wincing at the yell. Taking a bracing sip of tea, he patted his husband's back gently.

"It's nothing grand, but we're happy...isn't that all that matters?" May asked with a grin.
"Stole the words right from me, darling." Will laughed. "And painting's nothing to look down at...I can't even get stick figures to look right!"
Sosol smiled at his parents, hoping that he and Azana could be as happy as they were down the road. The glare from the young girl, though, caused it to fade. Remy had noticed it, too, so it wasn't just him. Something, though, didn't seem right about the girl...
She's acting...almost like she's split. Hard and soft, angry and loving... He shook his head, determined not to be nosy, and made his way to get his parents something cold to drink.
Azana made her way to Max's room, knowing that it was there they were probably working. "You two in there?" She asked with a knock.

Remy huffed, ignoring the new girl's attitude. "Grand isn't always good, you know...and anyone who told you what a stick figure ought to look like's no artist." he smiled.

Concern grew on Aris face as she spoke about "they" and he instinctively welcomed her embrace with his own.
"What do you mean they....I know there is still fighting...I have been trying to stop it on my own, but there's a lot to do. Everyone you see here has been fighting too. maybe not for the same reasons, but the same ends for the most part. What information do you have about whats going on?"
he questioned with a faint sound of uneasiness within his voice. Truly he sounded and looked still a little shaken by this incident but his composure was slowly coming back and he snapped a finger and whistled as a silver Wyrmling made its way from the stairs behind them as if floating on air.
"Baharoth"
He said swiftly as the wyrmling coiled around his arm
"Take a seat and tell me what you know Serra"

"Eh, you know what I mean," he said with a shrug, pulling out a seat at the table with the bouquet before taking one himself. "Everybody's got somethin' they're good at..."
May took the offered seat and brushed a stray lock out of her face. "It's how communities began...people good with all sorts of things trading off with each other. Don't see much of that anymore."
Sosol brought over a set of glasses, setting them down with his parents. "Did you want something, too, Remy...?"
Tyler opened the door, his hair completely unkempt with circles forming under his eyes. "Yep."
"You look like hell."
"Long night...got a name, though." Tyler said, his voice almost devoid of enthusiasm. "Max is running through the grapevine, since electronic records in those kind of countries, especially that far back, are pretty rare."
"Thank you, Az! Haven't had one like this in a long time!" Max called from inside, the light keystrokes barely heard.
"...weren't you and Remy supposed to go out at some point...?" Tyler asked, looking back at her.
"They're a thing, then?" Azana asked, peeking in the door with a smirk.
"N-no! It's just a business dinner!" Max said, though the embarrassed blush on her cheeks betrayed it all. "...shut up..."
"Hey, don't be like that. I'm happy for you..."

Xei sauntered her way down the stairs, having disappeared for awhile, having no luck finding what she needed she made her way back to the table an took a seat.

At the shouting of a man who appeared to be sleeping,Serra gave her brother an innocent look, gazing up at him with her big blue eyes, almost like she was saying What's wrong with everyone? Did I do something wrong? She couldn't have these people ruin this for her, no way, she was too close. All she had to do was lure her brother away from the neutral ground and all these people...
She then addressed his questions. "I don't know much Aris...but I heard of an event...a small event with big consequences..." Serra had lowered her voice to a whisper now, assuring that the others didn't hear. "I intercepted a message from some SIN followers. It didn't have details, but it had place and time. Oh Aris...We have to stop it!" All of this she made up, there was no event, there was no message. Serra just needed to get Aris alone...

Gren waved. "Welcome back, Xei." He gave Serra a look of warning, trying to cool off his husband. "You should know better than to yell indoors, miss."

"Dinner out? What's the occasion?" Sosol asked with a smile, sitting down with his parents.
"Doesn't he always go out for dinner...?" May asked, somewhat confused.
"They probably have stuff for him around here. He's not the only one, remember?"
Tyler found himself shoved out the room by a frantic Max. He leaned against the opposite wall, casting his glance at Azana. "I told her it could have waited..."
"The date?"
"No, the search. I know how she gets with these things..." Tyler pulled off his glasses, rubbing an eye before putting them back on. "We haven't even found out that much, and she's already this energetic."
"She's passionate about what she does. Nothing wrong with that." Azana looked over to him with a grin. "Last I checked, you enjoy your tech..."
"I do, believe me." For the first time that day, a smile crossed his face. "It's about striking a balance, though. It can't be your whole life, even if it does take up a lot of it. I'm hoping Remy will help her realize that."
Max dashed back and forth across the room, tossing various articles of clothing on the bed. She was trying to stick to only two colors for the evening...but her rush almost made her want to give up on it.

Remy beamed. "I'm heading out with Max tonight...repayment for the computer. And yeah, there's a vegan 'blood' supply here, but dinner out is nice too."
